Best specialty coffees in SLO! Super fun atmosphere, nice to sit in the seating area inside with the art & music. Sometimes seats outside. Super chill out there too. Tucked in the corner of The Creamery square, a very welcomed addition 🤩 Buen Dia cafe has vibrant and playful colours throughout. The staff are always so lovely, friendly and genuine to chat with. If you know the specialty drinks of tres hermanos of Atascadero, this place is way up there with them! If not way better which is really saying something. Anyway the drinks are so good, they’re by standard on the smaller side but worth it. The CHORANGE is unreal. Their standard lattes show their pro understanding of coffees, and they offer excellent decaf espresso-based drinks those of us who don’t need the caffeine. Their cold foam is next level. The old fashioned style coffee is just chefs kiss. Not just for students! Nice to come to work inside. You won’t be disappointed ☕️ I’ve sipped away on my iced latte in the photo. This place is a treat 🍬 One note I do have is I tried the croissant and a donut on previous occasions. I wasn’t won over, definitely could improve & I’m sure the other things in the cake display make for a good snack, but honestly this place is for the coffee...

10/10 slayed the house boots down don’t play with herrrr!!!!! buen dia is an incredibly charming coffee shop in downtown SLO with a gorgeous interior and great service. our drinks came out super fast and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! the drinks we got: bon bon latte iced latté with a chocolate mousse cream top strong chocolate flavor mixed great with the coffee good quality coffee not too sweet, well balanced cold foam to coffee ratio 7.5/10 matchas gracias iced matcha americano with vanilla cream top high quality matcha strong matcha flavor cold foam has a delicious real vanilla flavor perfect mix of cream and matcha, smoother latte highly recommend for matcha enthusiasts 10/10 abuelas coffee spiced latté nice classic pot coffee with a delicious blend of spices sweetest drink out of the three (in a good way) maintained a strong coffee flavor 9/10

Buen Dia Coffee is hands-down one of my favorite spots—warm, inviting, and always consistent with quality. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a welcoming vibe and a space that feels both cozy and community-centered.

Their coffee is amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough. My absolute go-to is the Iced Honey Latte—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and super smooth. On days when I want something a little richer, Abuela’s Coffee is my favorite—it’s comforting, flavorful, and tastes like something made with love.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe makes it a great place to hang out, study, or catch up with a friend. They also have tasty pastries and a thoughtful menu that goes beyond your average coffee shop.
