Walgreens — Local services in San Pablo

I have been a customer of Walgreens for a very long time and I have experienced at this particular store, close to where I live, that wait times at checkout are usually long. But my recent experience is that I paid for my prescription drug delivery on the phone and added a tip for the delivery driver. I was supposed to receive it on a Friday, it didn't arrive, and then I was told I would receive it on a Saturday, it didn't arrive. I was told that there was something going on with their delivery system. Customers should know this information ahead of time, or as it happens.This is disappointing to offer a service that doesn't work. I like shopping inside Walgreens, even if it may be a bit of a wait, but I will not do prescription delivery again because of this incident. Things happen beyond our control, but there should be some kind of accommodations. I will have to make a way to pick up the prescription in person and ask for a refund for the delivery fee...

THE WORST WALGREENS IN THE WORLD! I ARRIVED AT THE DRIVE THRU OF THE PHARMACY AT 8:14PM, BEHIND ANOTHER CAR. WHILE THAT CAR WAS STILL WAITING TO BE SERVICED. ITS CURRENTLY 8:37PM AND I AM STILL BEHIND THE FIRST CAR AND THERE IS 2 OTHER CARS BEHIND ME. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PHARMACY IS SO POOR. ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASION I WAS TOLD MY INSURANCE WAS INACTIVE AND IT WASN'T. MY CASE WORKER HAD TO CALL THE PHARMACY TO WALK THEM THRU OF HOW TO CHARGE THE INSURANCE BECAUSE THE WORKERS EITHER DIDNT KNOW OR DIDNT WANT TO DO IT. MIND YOU ITS 8:40 AND IM STILL IN THE DRIVE THRU AND THE CAR AHEAD JUST RANG THE CALL BUTTON YET AGAIN. THIS IS NONSENSE. WHO KNOWS HOW LONG ITS GOING TO TAKE ME TO GET MY MEDICINE THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3DAYS BECAUSE THEY SAID MY INSURANCE WAS INVALID. This pharmacy is horrible. It seems that they mess up my moms meds every month. Last week on Friday I went to the pharmacy an hour before closing to find that they closed early AGAIN, and now my mom has to be without her inhaler all weekend. I ended up having to go to the 24hour WALLGREENS in Walnut Creek which is only WALLGREENS open on weekends. When I called the D.M. at COOPRATE office I had to call back 3 times and then the D.M.(DISTRICT MGR) had the store manager call me who I didn’t want to talk to. I am moving our percriptions from WALLGREENS Rex to another pharmacy. I miss the old Rex at the bottom of Solano&San pablo, Albany!
