Rockin Crawfish — Restaurant in San Pablo

I don't typically review restaurants, but I had a refreshingly pleasant experience worthy of appropriate feedback. I took my fiancee out for dinner and the venue was bustling with activity and packed with customers. The delicious aroma of food being prepared and being consumed serendipitously filled the air. The staff was friendly and welcoming and assured we would be seated as soon as possible. The staff offered us a seat at the bar while we waited. The drinks were prepared quickly and had a heavy pour which I enjoyed 😉. The food was delectable and came out quickly given the number of customers enjoying their meals. Our waitress checked on us frequently and tended to our request expeditiously and with warmth.

I will definitely be returning as this place is an absolute pleasure to dine at.

Pricing was fair and gratuity was included yet I felt inclined to leave our waitress a token of my appreciation for a memorable experience. Truely appreciate that managment was on top of delivering service and a positive dinner experience. #foodwasfire #welcomingvenue #awesomediningexperience...

I was one of their first customers during their grand opening years back. There is something about their sauce that is hard to compare to the other Cajun Seafood joints. My go to is a pound of their shrimp in their Rockin’ Combo sauce in medium heat.

Before the epidemic, this was the spot to go to watch any games. Their are multiple TVs viewable from any seat. Their customer service has always been attentive refilling water at any chance your cup was low.

Now with the change of times, the order station blocking the front door with the menu attached to the sneeze guard. I planned on eating inside the car so asked for the goods as they would do for eating in the restaurant.

I was provided with the table lining, super durable gloves, bib, and plenty of hand wipes.

Unfortunately this establishment has lost some of its shine. The service here has really taken a nosedive along with the quality of their food. I was in the mood for some fresh oysters, and the wife and I decided we wanted a combo with crab shrimp muscles and crawfish. To start off with it seems they don't really keep oysters in stock anymore, so they were once again unavailable. We were one of three parties that were eating inside the restaurant, it did seem that the kitchen staff was quite busy creating to-go orders and doordash orders. We waited nearly an hour for our combo to come out, and when it did come out it was not hot. The crab was overcooked, the Crawfish were very small. Their sauce which used to be one of my favorite things, seems to have had a change in recipes, and was not good at all.
