Double Rainbow Ice Cream — Restaurant in San Pablo

If you ever in town or passing through the Bay Area make sure to stop through and have a scoop or two of Double Rainbow delicious all naturally made ice cream. This location is black owned, the owner is amazing !!! The establishment is clean, nicely lighted, has sitting area inside, and friendly service. My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more. The pics I have posted is a pics of my grandson for his birthday !!!

It's a pretty basic ice cream shop; good to go to for a craving/ ice cream run. The owner is there probably all day, and he is one tough cookie. First time I went there I cracked a few jokes and NO response. Just went again tonight and I got a few smiles out of him, so yay! Ha! The selection is fine, but the shop itself is outdated and a little sad. It's a local staple but could use a little pep. Ps. Check out the freezer with the ice cream cakes. I'm going to get one someday...

When I came in I noticed the ice cream cones were just sitting on the countertop. The price is weren't clearly labeled and I had trouble even seeing if there was a menu on the wall. , there wasn't any ventilation, everything had a faded, a dull appearance and I got it sense I was bothering the cashier / service person.
