I bought few types of products at this Russian store today Jan21 at 5:40 p.m. Among other products, I bought candy by weight. After I paid for the groceries, the cashier gave me a receipt. This receipt is very unusual - it does not contain a list of product names, does not have the price of products per pound, it does not specify the weight, and there is no total price for each type of product and candy. This receipt only reports the time of payment and the total amount that the cashier requested. But I have an accurate kitchen scale at home, so when I returned home, I weighed all the sweets, counted all and it turned out that the cashier demanded $1.96 more than the cost of the sweets, i.e. in the end, the cashier pocketed 15% of the total...
Read moreI go to this store often to try different foods/items. They have products that are difficult to find in this area. The older man that works there isn’t very friendly but that doesn’t really affect my opinion of the store.
My issue is that certain items are not clearly marked for prices (especially bulk/per pound items). There were a couple of occasions that I was surprised by a high total when I got to the register.
I’m not saying that I was cheated, but they should be a little more clear on their pricing.
