A Colorado man was arrested Monday after allegedly going on a racist and homophobic rant against two college students, who were eating at an In-N-Out in the Bay Area on Christmas Eve. The students, Arine Kim and Elliot Ha, filmed the encounter in a now-viral TikTok. Jordan Douglas Krah, 40, has been charged with two counts of committing a hate crime, according to a statement from the San Ramon Police Department. In the video, Krah is allegedly seen harassing Kim and Ha, making comments about their sexualities and asking questions about their racial identities and ethnicities, even returning to question the duo after walking away. He then threatens to spit in their faces before saying, “See you outside.” “Elliot and I were shaking and stuttering towards the end of it,” Kim told CBS Bay Area, who said that after the pair exited the restaurant, Krah continued to stare at them for “ten to fifteen minutes.” "We will continue to take swift and diligent legal action against acts of hate to help create an inclusive place for all to live, work and visit," police said in a statement Monday. Before his arrest, San Ramon Police said they have received similar complaints about similar behavior from what appears to be the same man. Kim and Ha said a woman paid for their In-N-Out meals on Monday, as a gesture of support. #sanramon #eastbay #california #innout #bayarea

SAN RAMON — Police are searching for a man who was caught on video making racist and homophobic comments against two customers eating at an In-N-Out Burger in San Ramon on Christmas Eve. Arine Kim and Elliot Ha told KPIX that they were at the restaurant and trying some items off the secret menu when the man approached them and started making the comments. Neither knows what caused the man to walk over and start talking to them, but knew quickly after he did, that he wanted to start trouble. “It was a shock, to say the least,” Kim recalled. The video shows the man approaching for a second time, continuing to harass them. “Elliot and I were shaking and stuttering towards the end of it,” Kim said. The back and forth continues for a few more minutes, with the man continuing to ask homophobic and racist questions to the friends. “Are you Japanese or Korean?” the man is heard saying. “You Kim Jong Un’s boyfriend?” Eventually, the man left. “The alarm bells were ringing inside our head, like we are in danger,” Kim said. The pair said after the man exited the restaurant, he stood outside staring at them for several minutes. “He was staring us down for 10 to 15 minutes through the window and his gaze never averted from us,” Kim said. After the man left the scene, store employees walked the two out to their car to make sure he wasn’t lurking around. “We made sure to ask the workers, could you guys walk us to our cars, we need to make sure that he’s not still around. And the workers were just super helpful,” Ha told KPIX. The pair uploaded the video to TikTok and since the video was posted Saturday, it has garnered millions of views and tens of thousands of comments. “Community within the comments, if that makes sense, is all very wholeheartedly supportive of stopping asian hate, movements against POC in general,” Ha said. San Ramon Police said they have received similar complaints about similar behavior from what appears to be the same man. In a statement on Monday, Police Chief Denton Carlson thanked the community for providing information about the case. #sanramon #eastbay #bayarea #innout #racism #asianamerican #korean

I have been to In n out many time. The prices for the food are excellent in this time of inflationary food chains. The burger this time just seemed so thin, an the fries really basic. I had just had lunch at The Habit, and had a very recent comparison. The Habit’s fries were outstanding and very plentiful, the burger extremely delicious. I guess it just comes down to a budget thing, and who you want to support with your hard-earned cash. The Habit was much more expensive. In n out was much more affordable and still very good.

This is an awesome place to go get a hamburger and a milkshake. If you go through the drive-thru you will see people chopping potatoes which they make fresh french fries with. Although their fries are fresh and that is awesome they're not that tasty they're kind of boring and dry so I recommend asking for them animal style. If you like In-N-Out Burger and you should know there is a secret menu. I won't go into it here but look it up online. I had no idea that you could order large milkshakes. The other thing about In-N-Out is that they don't have anything else but hamburgers. So if you have somebody who doesn't like hamburgers in your group this may not be the best place for them. If you're a vegetarian they will make a hamburger for you without the Patty and for children they will take the same hamburger bun and make a grilled cheese with it sort of. If you're doing without the carbs they'll give you a lettuce bun. There's no add-ons for these Burgers meaning no bacon, no avocado, and no optional cheese choices. You get American cheese. The Burgers are fresh and made to order and they are constructed quite well with a toasted bun and a thousand island spread they call animal sauce. Eating in your car? They will ask you this if you go through the drive-thru it's just good...

I was given the incorrect item twice believe it or not the item I had order was the number one which is a double cheeseburger I asked them to go ahead and put everything on it with grilled onions just no lettuce when I received it it was a single with just tomatoes so wrong when I received the burger that was supposed to replace it it was a double cheeseburger with no tomatoes but lettuce the server did in fact offer to correct it I opted to just remove the lettuce for fear of getting another incorrect item so may or may not have happened but I didn't want to take a chance I was hungry otherwise the food was hot obviously since it was served to me directly off the grill french fries were actually seem like they were as fresh as usual which that is very odd for in and out the location did seem pretty clean it was a bit crowded in the parking lot this location has always suffered from a lack of parking at even the drive-thru is really lacking it did fills up very quickly it's a very small lot anyway it definitely was not my usual experience with In and Out Burger hopefully it's an isolated incident and it won't...

One of the better locations in the Bay Area. We go weekly because we have teenagers. The last few weeks, the food was on point. Almost perfect I dare say. Buns were perfectly toasted, and the burger and all toppings were laid out in the where there is coverage with every bite. This was the last four weeks or so. This last week was back to ok. Wish they could keep the consistency but I get it when the crew changes. My other thing is consistency with portion sizes on fries. Sometimes you’ll get enough fries and with the gals less. Think associates are filling up portions based on personal preference but it should all be a standard size.

My favorites are add pickle, ketchup and mustard only, fries well done or light.

Still the best fast food chain in town and as healthy as can be for a burger joint. ...
