Update: 2nd night, bad energy. totally creeped out by the aweful Staff, evil eye rolling beyond unprofessional. It seems like they’ve recruited all the staff here from hell, bad vibes and just terrible energy. If you come to relax in peace And interact with kind people then stay away from this hell hole!

1st night: a dangerous place! This is the worst Hyatt with east bay type characters: tattoos, marijuana, rude and violent attitudes, One word: junkies. Hotel has No security presence.

The Police had to be called. I had an injury to my head at the laundry room after getting a whiff of the urine coming through the door (the hallway smelled like urine, poop and marijuana) I went to the front desk to ask for ice. Gianna at the front desk was talking to a guy with tattoos while I interrupted them to ask for ice. She was annoyed then told me to get it myself, I then requested she get it because I was hurt. (Never have I experience this at a Hyatt?) After she told me she can’t go I asked her to get someone else at the hotel to. She called another hotel staff to get me ice, he came and left, took a while and didn’t come back so I had to interrupt Gianna again to get the status because I was hurt and my head was starting to swell and my body shaking. Because of the interruption on their very “personal” conversation the guy Gianna was talking to turned around and raised his voice at me. He started to get violent walking towards me, causing me to feel unsafe not to mention on top of my head injury. I asked him not to talk to me because I wasn’t talking to him and he’s not a staff At the hotel. I then had to dial the police to intervene since there was no security present and the hotel staff seem inadequate and unhelpful. What an aweful place full of junkies and the staff unprofessional. The hall smells like marijuana, poop and urine, you’ll have to hold your breath for more than 20 seconds walking down it. Sheets also stinks! This hotel is deteriorating in really bad shape. Aweful service and hospitality, dangerous characters. Stay away if you want to feel safe. Certainly I will not be back after being a frequent guest. General manager of Hyatt San Ramon: even though you won’t see me back again, I hope you do something about your hotel. If requesting to have ice after incurring a head injury on your property is considered to be too demanding, I don’t think you’re in the right business as a hotel. It’s incomprehensible as a loyal Hyatt customer. This hotel doesn’t deserve the brand name because you certainly failed on delivering what a Hyatt hotel offers: hospitality and professionalism. On top of that, no sense of urgency on an...

The Hyatt House in San Ramon is a nice, friendly, well-equipped, and welcoming Suite Style Hotel. I stayed in the studio (room 221) for two nights over the weekend Saturday & Sunday night in November. It's great for business travel and a good vacation home away from home.

The reception staff was immediately welcoming and friendly and made an exceptionally warm start to the stay. There's ample parking that stretches the front, sides, and back of the hotel. Parking is free which is great and is patrolled by security!

The room amenities are great with a full kitchen, fridge freezer, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Along with a wide range of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, & plates. I always appreciate the attention to detail at a Hyatt, the ample power sockets next to your bed, the nicely placed handles on the wardrobe mirror doors, and the vanity mirror installed in the bathroom area. The TV faces the desk and not the bed in the studio which is great for business travelers. Talking about business travel the WIFI when I tested this runs in at around ~4.75 Mbps up & down which is a decently standard speed for an open & unauthenticated hotel internet. The connection appears to be stable and I haven't had any issues, so it's a solid thumbs up when it comes to connectivity. There also appears to be an Ethernet port in the room which I haven't tried but is a welcome addition for the business road warrior.

This Hyatt is modern and has been kept up to date as you would expect from the brand. It's a plus that this Hyatt is reasonable price amongst the competitors nearby and in other areas.

If you're staying in a studio one thing to keep in mind is that there's a full on fridge freezer in your room so this can get a bit noisey at night. However if you're not using your fridge I recommend putting it off the coldest temperature setting and that'll solve your problem.

The gym is open 24/7, and the pool is open from 10am-10pm. I've also listed the breakfast and bar hours below, and there is a hotel store for snacks & drinks that's open 24/7 as well .

Breakfast: Mon-Fri 6:30am - 9:30am Sat-Sun: 7am-10am

Hotel Bar Hours: Sun-Sat 5:00pm-10pm

All in all I highly recommend this Hyatt, the staff are friendly and welcoming. And worked to correct a couple of things that I pointed out...

One of the worst customer service experiences in my life. Alicia assistant manager should be terminated immediately for her disrespect towards customers and inability to problem solve. DO NOT CHARGE YOUR CAR HERE - I was grateful this hotel provided adapters to charge non-tesla vehicles. I used it one time, it worked great and charged my vehicle to 100% with no issue. As I check my credit card statement after departure, I realized the hotel decided to charge me $300 for "Damaged EV charger - burnt and unusable" I immediately contacted the hotel in surprise as I returned the adapter in the exact same condition I received it in, it worked perfectly fine and it charged my car. If it didn't work fine, I would have went to front desk to ask for a different one... No one could help me with this charge when I called, so I tried again the following morning and finally got Alicia the assistant manager whom is claiming I returned the adapter BURNT - which is completely a lie, and she hung up on me saying she refuses to refund the charge and I damaged their property. Absolutely false, if I had actually broke something that's one thing - but the fact I simply borrowed their adapter and it worked completely fine to charge my car with zero issue and I returned it to front desk - is shocking to me and very telling that the hotel is trying to tack on an extra $300 to my bill and hopes I won't notice. Alicia is highly unprofessional with a huge attitude and hung up on me - once I kept calling and demanded she finish the conversation and handle the situation today - she said "FINE - I will refund you the $300 but only if you never stay at the property again." LOL. are you kidding me! ok Alicia! I bet today was your last day at the property too so I guess you wont be seeing me again! You have zero authority or right to tell me I am banned from the Hyatt house when I did nothing wrong here - but be a paying customer and borrowed your adapter...This hotel smells of mildew throughout the entire corridors and in the rooms. The windows do not open. The pillows are for dwarfs. loud and not soundproofed. And the attitude of their management staff is beyond anything professional. needs a big update, staff included....

The location of this Hyatt House is fantastic, but the hotel itself is pretty standard and way overpriced. They also charge a $10 parking fee which is not disclosed upfront when booking. So it cost me $225 for a night at this mediocre hotel. The room was dated, dark and small (375 sq. ft.)…very poorly designed with the flat screen TV in an awkward position on a crappy dresser table. The only redeeming quality about my room was the comfortable King size bed. The room card keys didn’t function properly. I got trapped in the swimming pool area after a morning swim because the card key wouldn’t work. I had to eventually take a service exit and walk around to front of the hotel lobby reception area and request new card keys. Hyatt hotels need to fix this issue. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are perhaps the best feature of this Hyatt House hotel. Access to the pool and jacuzzi area is from 10am to 10pm. The free breakfast was crap…very sad with no healthy fresh options available. I went to Trader Joe’s for far better quality food, fresh fruit and yogurt. I would give this Hyatt House hotel a two star rating… the food is particularly dreadful!
