German Auto Care — Local services in San Ramon

I've been taking my last 3 vehicles to these guys over the last ~5 years. I've found them to be thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely good people.

Each time I've spoken to Jace or Dylan about the state of one of my cars, they were always extremely transparent about the diagnosis, possible remedies, and what the outcome may be - they give it to you straight. The range of options they gave me helped me to make the best decision for my situation.

At one point I came in ready to drop a lot of money on a rebuilt transmission & they actually stopped me and told me it wasnt needed - they gave me a better option and did tell me that it may not work, but that I should at least try it first. I followed their advice. Had I gone anywhere else, 9 times out of 10, I'm sure my transmission would have been rebuilt. They saved me a lot, in that one go - they didnt have to do that, after all I was the one coming in and asking for the rebuild, but they did do that -- they earned my loyalty right then and there.

Here, I know that I'm in good hands, with people who are looking out for my best interest too. And it's really nice when you find a small business who knows how to treat customers like customers - I think it's a great way to operate because it also retains customers, like me. These guys clearly know how to treat their most valuable assets.

There is simply no other place I will take my cars, unless they're the ones recommending it. (and they have sent me other places when it was warranted)
