If i could give it a 0 star rating i would. I am so incredibly disappointed in my experience. I was not planning to write this review, but what has happened was my last straw. To begin, I called in and asked for an appointment specifically for acrylic nails. When I came in, they let me know the person who usually does them are out, claiming that I asked for gel. I let it go, since gel was fine with me as well. The woman used a gel that burned my fingers. I researched a bit and found that a little bit burning is fine, but it was to the point where my fingers were hurting. When I told her, she just kept pulling my fingers under the uv light. Next came the cuticle nipping. She nipped a lot of skin on my thumb, to the point where it bled like crazy. She even cured the top coat while there was still blood on my finger. Lastly my nails were crooked and not shaped well. Overall, I did not have a good experience at the salon yet I decided to let it go. I even went ahead and shaped my nails into almond later, because of how badly they were done. The worst part though, happened recently. It’s been about a month and my nails have grown out a bit. One of my nails were coming off, so I tried taking it off. It started to hurt immensely, so I checked and it looks like my real nail on my nail bed had ripped. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but my nails are definitely not thin enough to break in the middle like that at a tug. They are currently bleeding immensely under my gel extension, and i don’t want to pull it off and cause even more bleeding. I will show my doctor tomorrow. Lastly, the woman filed so much of my real nail that there are deep and red rings of fire. I’m sure that this salon is not a bad one, judging from all the good reviews but my experience was extremely bad. It got to the point where my nails needed medical attention. I payed 70 dollars. I will decide my next steps...
Read moreI had been a loyal customer here for years, but my most recent visit was nothing short of insulting. When I asked for my favorite polish color, Christine immediately brushed me off, saying they didn’t have it, and was hesitant to even hand me the catalog. I tried to settle on other options, but the technician doing my nails was grumpy and careless, filing several of my nails crooked. When I respectfully asked her to fix them, she acted annoyed, as if I were asking for a favor instead of paying for a service.
The most shocking moment came when I finally spotted my preferred color on the wall. I walked over, chose it, and returned to my seat, only to find the technician had abandoned me and started working on someone else. Christine casually said she would “finish me later” while juggling another customer, excusing the technician’s behavior by saying I was “picking too many colors.” That response was unbelievable. I am the customer, it is your job to guide me, not punish me for taking a moment to choose the right color.
This entire experience was disrespectful and unprofessional. We don’t come to salons to be treated like an inconvenience. We pay for service, and basic courtesy should be the minimum standard in this Country! After years of coming here, I left feeling insulted, and I will...
Read moreI went here today for the first time and was treated like a princess. Holly did my pedicure and some waxing. She was wonderful. She was very patient and caring, being I have very sensitive and ticklish feet. She waxed my legs today. I have never that done. I must say I am so happy with the results. My legs are so soft..and I can wear shorts now..lol. I will definitely be back. I just want to thank Holly again for making me feel pretty again. I have been going through a lot this past year and I forgot about myself. She took the time to take care of me and remind me I deserve it as a...
