I thought I already did a review, but I’m not sure what happened to it. I had a problem with the pharmacy, as I have multiple prescriptions from different doctors and different facilities, and they refilled the wrong one, one that had been discontinued with my doctor. I discussed concerns for myself and for other customers in general that having us pay for our prescriptions before we find out what we’re getting (in the drive thru) is problematic, and that the pharmacy could improve their communication. The pharmacist was really quite immediately focused on how this was my own fault and that I as the patient should know that it’s my own responsibility to figure out what prescription they’re giving me. At other pharmacies in the past, I have worked with really nice pharmacists who did a great job thinking proactively about different medications I was on, possible interactions that the doctors didn’t think about, etc. I have not experienced a pharmacist being so direct about how they just fill whatever is in the computer and everything else is on us as the patient to figure out. Most pharmacists really take pride in the fact that they got doctoral degrees because they have so much more to offer their patients than just filling bottles with pills based on what the computer tells them. So that’s a bummer! It’s illegal for them to take returns on prescriptions and their website seems to sign everybody up automatically for automatic refills, so I would advise going somewhere else for prescriptions.    Read moreTheir “system” is constantly going down and the technicians are rude and incompetent. I had to spend 15 minutes on the phone arguing that they did, in fact, have my prescription. This call was at 2:30 pm, and they advised my prescription would be ready by 5 pm. I then received a notification that my prescription was being delayed because they were reviewing my insurance. However, when I called again at 4:30 pm regarding this notification, they advised that there, in fact, was not an issue with insurance, but they had not even begun processing my prescription and had to check if it was even in stock. Then they advised that their system had gone down and that my prescription would not be ready for another hour. I attempted to pick up my prescription at 6:30 pm and was advised that the system had just come back up and they would not be able to fill the prescription until the next day. When I expressed my frustration that this would not have been an issue if they had not delayed filling my prescription for over 2 hours because of a non-existent insurance issue, the technician responded incredibly rudely. The fact that people cannot obtain their prescriptions in a timely manner and without having to place multiple phone calls to deal with the incompetence of the technicians is unacceptable, and the rude responses are just the cherry on top of a pathetic excuse for a pharmacy.    Read moreI would give this store zero stars if I could. On 4/15 I went into this store to have my photo taken for my passport. I sent the photo off to the passport agency and the photo was rejected. I received a letter & email stating the imagine size measurements were not correct & my facial features could not clearly be identified. This was my first time applying for my passport so I trusted the employee who took the picture knew what they were doing. I had to retake the photo at another Walgreens near my house and quickly mail it off to the passport agency. I returned to the Walgreens on Hammond Drive to get a refund for the photos that were rejected and was told I could not get my money back because I didn’t have my receipt. Also, I used my debit card to make the payment so why can’t the transaction be found? Every other store can find transactions when you use a card to pay! Why would I save a receipt for a passport photo? How was I supposed to know they have employees taking photos with no experience! Not only did I lose money but my passport process is on hold until they receive my new photos! I have a trip planned next month so this is a MAJOR inconvenience!
