Just Love Coffee Cafe - Atlanta Perimeter — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

So this was my first time at this coffee shop, and I tied my dog up outside. I was getting a black coffee and I decided on getting a muffin, which I got the lemon poppyseed. I have never had such a delicious muffin in my life! On top of that despite just getting a black coffee with a bit of cream, the coffee was not bitter it was not burnt. It was perfect.

The muffin was so moist, it stuck to your teeth. This was incredible. The girl behind the counter offered my dog a pup cup, which my dog does not like that sort of thing, but I accepted it anyway as it came with a jerky treat. My dog took the jerky treat out, ate that, and then did not want any of the rest of the pup cup.

I will say that the people sitting inside seem to be enjoying themselves, and it seemed like a more “coffee shop” vibe in the traditional sense of the word, rather than a Starbucks where people just sit around on their laptops and do nothing and don’t communicate with one another.

I will 1000% be coming back, even though it was a 2 1/2 mile walk for me and my dog one way to get there. Kudos to the manager, the owner, and all the staff that work there. Again, I’ve only been there once, but I am very finicky when it comes to my coffee and muffins, and this place knocked it out...

Great location! Love this place! It is different from other coffee shops, this is a coffee cafe. The food choices are so good I could hardly decide! I’ll have to come back to try more. Atmosphere is chill and comfortable. Love they support animal charities.

Update: Dec. 18 - I was in town again for work staying in this area so I went back to Just Love Coffee Cafe. This time I had the waffle slider, and an iced chai latte. Both were fantastic. Very clean (I know, it’s newly opened) but the staff was very attentive to clearing and keeping tables and other areas clean. Everyone wears masks too! I stayed and worked for a bit and although it was busy, it was not distracting so I could get some work done. I really like it here. I will come every time I’m in town.

Feb: 12 - had the Italian Caprese sandwich today. Crispy bread smashed in the waffle iron, melted stringy cheese, tomatoes and basil, with balsamic for dipping. The balsamic was fantastic. Another great choice! I overheard someone say, this coffee is better than the one I had at Starbucks...

I popped by here to kill some time and do some work on my laptop, and I was extremely impressed. The baristas were friendly and offered suggestions upon request. They must have also noticed my backpack and knew I was planning on doing some work, because they gave me the WiFi details after I ordered without me having to ask (the WiFi is plenty fast for a public network). I also ordered a second drink and the barista stopped by to ask if everything I had ordered was to my satisfaction. On top of great service, food, and drink, the store itself is cute, but more importantly clean with gender-neutral restrooms, which is a huge plus. If I ever find myself in the area again I will definitely stop by. My only comment is that the location on Google Maps is slightly off, and is actually on the corner of Hammond Drive/Peachtree Dunwoody Rd so it took me a few minutes to find this place (I made an edit suggestion to Google, so hopefully this gets...
