Someone else suggested this place. It wasn't too far from where I live. It's not the easiest place to spot, but it is easy to get to, and near a relatively large parking area, so no issues with finding a spot to park. It's not too far from shopping areas and there are a few other food options nearby in case you are with someone who is looking to bite into something different. Never having heard of Hopdoddy Burger Bar prior to visiting, I was not sure what to expect. As we entered, we noticed there are some instructions as to what to do. I am not fully settled into the QR code for the menu thing. I really appreciate saving paper and plastic, but puts more work onto the customer, which moves it into more fast food territory, in my opinion. However, this does allow easier menu changes. Not a big deal. Then we reach up to the counter to order after scrolling through the decently sized menu. The menu was not overwhelming to me, and there are a good amount of options. What really surprised us was that you can change any burger to a veggie burger. Why don't other places do this? Seriously. Such a simple task to switch out the patties. Now, I do not see them using a different spot to cook these, so if you are worried about that, this is not the spot. Anyway, for us it was not too big of a deal. The ordering is quick and easy, and the price was decent. We got our individual burgers and fries to share. Now, once we sat down and got our food, we went right into it. First, though, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. The bathroom is pretty clean. The establishment has a modern simplistic look and feel. A lot of brown and sharp edges, some soft brown lighting. Nothing to different than other places I have been to. There is a bar in the middle of you're looking to wet the beak. I was into it. My burger was good. No high expectations and I was pleased. The hand cut fries, very good. I was filled up and satisfied with my order. No more, no less. That is honestly all there is for me to say about this place. Service is whatever. The food is what saves this spot. Worth checking out to try the burgers, but you'd have the same experience just having take out from here. I'll be stopping by again to get another...

I took my aunt and uncle who was from out of the country for his farewell dinner tonight(09/13/2023) at around 8pm. I had told them how great the reviews were and food looked good. When we walked in we were led to a counter to order which was weird cos there were no signs saying this and the menu atvthe counter doesn't even show all the burgers they offer. I also expected it to be a sit down, waiter comes to take your order kind of place but it wasn't which was fine just unexpected . The girl at the counter who took our orders was extremely rude, i didn't get her name but she has a nasal cow ring piercing and other facial piercings. My aunt wanted the chicken sandwich and asked if it was deep fried or grilled the girl said fried when t was grilled and was extremely rude in her responses. Then the ketchup ren out of the dispenser and when i told her I was getting sauces for my aunt and uncle and son who had ordered fries(which were all very stale and not fresh) she asked me if im sure the extra ketchup sauces weren't for me. Ontop of that she acted so inconvinenced cos i asked her to come refil the dispenser. I didn't know getting ketchup was a problem. Overall terrible customer service experience from her.

We went over to the bar and the manager took our drink orders and didn't bother placing them with the bartender or making them. Thankfully the bartender was so sweet when I came back in 20 minute's later to ask about our drinks and he made them right away and apologized. The drinks and kindness shown by the bartender were the best part of our experience.

Burgers were ok but had thin patties which were cold and dry like they sat there all day. Not juicy at all. We ended up spending $100 including tips and tbh it was a very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this location and won't...

Terrible service and poorly trained staff. I went on a tuesday when they supposedly have $5 drinks for “hoppy hour”. They have a full service bar but you can also order drinks at the register with your food to sit at a table. I asked the cashier which drinks were $5 - she didn’t know. Instead of trying to find out she told me to go to the bar on the other side of the restaurant, ask the bartender, and come back. I asked and came back and ordered the rum punch. The girl at the register then asks me “is that a margarita?” I tell her no and she says she can’t find it in the system so they must not have it. I tell her that the bartender literally just said they do. She asks another girl who doesn’t know either. The third person she asks manages to find it but rings it up as full price. I say it’s supposed to be $5. They say that the happy hour prices are only until 6:00. It didn’t say that on the sign and also it’s ILLEGAL to end drink specials at a specific time in GA. They have to last all day if you’re gonna do them. I finally just got frustrated and left. Two weeks later I decided to give them another try because maybe they were just new but nope! Asked what the seasonal cocktail was and no one behind the counter knew. Had to go ask the bartender again. It was rum punch. It took 30 mins to get it and I had to go to the bartender to ask for it after that time even though they were supposed to bring it to the table. Food was meh. Overpriced and too salty. I definitely won’t be giving them...

This burger joint offers a satisfying dining experience for burger enthusiasts. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, with a rustic touch that adds to its charm. The menu boasts an array of burger options that cater to various taste preferences. Upon ordering, the burgers arrive promptly, accompanied by a side of crispy fries. The patties are cooked to perfection, with a juicy and flavorful interior that leaves a memorable impression. The buns are soft and slightly toasted, providing a pleasant contrast to the meaty center. While the selection of toppings is not overly extensive, the available choices complement the burgers well. The house-special sauce adds a tangy kick to each bite, enhancing the overall taste. However, some patrons might find themselves desiring more diverse add-ons to customize their burgers to a greater extent. The service is friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall positive experience. Prices are reasonable, reflecting the quality of ingredients and preparation. The restaurant's beverage options, including milkshakes and local craft sodas, provide refreshing accompaniments to the meal. In conclusion, this burger restaurant delivers a satisfying dining affair with its well-prepared patties, cozy ambiance, and attentive service. While there is room for more variety in the toppings selection, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a decent choice for a casual burger craving.

We had a party of 5 at 7 pm on a Sunday night. No line, with plenty of places to sit. They also have a bar. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. We got the Guacapotle Burger with Fries ($8.29 + $2.59), Jive Turkey Burger with Sweets ($8.55 + $3), Jive Turkey Burger with Brussels Sprouts ($8.55 + $4.99) and the Napa Salad ($9.99), the Voodoo Mushroom Burger sub Beyond Burger with Mac ‘N’ Cheese (no bacon) ($8.55 + $3 + $3.50), and California Chicken Sandwich with Brussels Sprouts ($8.55 + $4.99). The burgers were great and the sides were great. The Brussels Sprouts were too oily though. The portion sizes were good, except the Mac ‘N’ Cheese—that little ole bowl was not anywhere near worth $5, especially considering it’s made of pasta and cheese sauce (not even cheese!!). It’s good, but it ain’t cheap. When all was said and done, a causal Sunday night dinner for 5 was over $80! (Yes, one person got two meals, with a burger and a salad, so without the salad it would’ve been over $70, which brings it to a much more reasonable $14 per person.) I would say we would maybe split 2-3 sides between 5 people next time, but that doesn’t do much to bring down the cost. Overall, though, the burgers were really good. It’s in a convenient location. The only thing that would keep us from going back is the prices.
