Poor customer service. Used to have all my medications filled here. Transferred away because of their limited hours. Transferred one child’s medications back here several years later because they told me they could do pill packs and put all their daily meds in one container. That turned out to be a lie. I would really like to support a hometown pharmacy, but I will once again be transferring my medications away due to poor customer service.
Called the pharmacy the day the medicine was prescribed, confirmed pill packs and Medicaid number. A week later, I called to confirm pickup in pill packs. They confirmed the prescription would be ready in an hour because it wasn’t packed yet (a whole week later?). Went to pick up and they said they can’t fill one of the needed mood stabilizers because it requires approval and that their computers are down so they can’t verify her Medicaid status. We are now out of meds and that family member can’t be without that medicine even for a day.
To make matters worse, they say that they only offer individual blister packs instead of pill packs. This difference was not explained to me on the phone. I had asked if they could put all of the medicine into a single container daily. They had said yes. Apparently, they only offer individual pills in individual packages. So for five medications, I would have to open up five different blister packs. That is the opposite of what we asked for! We are trying to stay compliant with foster care regulations while balancing ease of use.
Why did they not let me know when I called the day the medicine was prescribed (a week earlier) that there was an issue with one of the medications? Why didn’t they notify me when I called earlier in the day asking if the medicine was ready for pick up? Why didn’t they verify Medicaid when the medicine was prescribed? Why did they not verify Medicaid when I called an hour before pick up? Why did they tell me they could put all of the medications into a single daily when they only offer individual blister packs per pill. This is just a failure customer...
Read moreI live in Sanger so this would be the most convenient Pharmacy for me. My son is a newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic. That alone comes with so much stress and worry all by itself but to add to it… this pharmacy never has what I need for my son anytime I have tried to fill a prescription for him. I understand needing to order supplies as well but the last time I needed something they said they would put in an order for it and should be there the next day around noon. I call on said day, they never ordered what I needed. So they once again said they would put in the order. And I could get it the following day… which they did but the lady I talked to was rude as if I had no reason to be irritated. I call again today (a Friday) to get insulin pen needles for my son, I’m told they don’t have it and I wouldn’t be able to get it til Monday. I ask them if they can transfer it to a CVS for me and I was told I would need to call CVS to have them request the prescription from S&J.. mid conversation the lady starts saying “hello” then she thinks she hangs up on me but I’m still on the line and I hear her talking to her coworkers telling them I hung up on her. I called back to try to get them to transfer my prescription once again… and all the sudden they said they could fill half of my prescription of 100 needles but not the 200 that was requested which I would have been totally satisfied with the 1st time around. Once again the person I spoke to was rude and every time I need a prescription for my son they act like I’m a bother to them. It’s ridiculous to have to want to go to another town to get what my son literally needs to live because my hometown pharmacy is so...
Read moreLiterally the worst. They are so rude and have what seems to be high school students who work there who can’t answer any questions. Every single time I’ve had a prescription sent here there is always some sort of issue. Telling me they can’t fill my insulin until they speak with my doctor, then when my doctor tries getting ahold of them telling them they need to give me exactly what’s prescribed it takes them 2 weeks to get it together. I’m always interrogated when buying syringes. I’ve also been given prescriptions for someone else 2 separate times. I can’t wait to transfer to the...
