Definitely one of the best $45-65 hotels stayed at. Payed and stayed 4 days up front. In town for 8 days with work and planned on staying here the other 4 days. Headed to another hotel very close to here. Minor rub the wrong way on first morning when I'm standing at the door shouting thru the door no service. I don't take service unless I'm somewhere more than a week. Shower watch tv sleep work repeat. Room requires laundry and light cleaning when I leave. The male service attendant kept tapping on the door as I said I don't need service repeatedly. I finally called front desk explained guy keeps knocking and I don't need service to which something was mumbled and I was hung up on. Upon 2nd morning the first time he knocked I opened the door and told him I do not need any service and he said you don't ? I said no I don't thank you, he turned away I closed the door. Phone rings in the room 10 seconds or less later - hello - yes you have to take room service - I don't need room service - you have to take it, we have to inspect the room - inspect the room ? no, I sleep and watch tv when I'm here, I don't need any room service during my stay - now pertubed she says you have to take it we have to inspect. - no you don't have to inspect, so No - what do you mean no - No don't inspect don't send service. You can't stay here if we don't inspect the room. Ok I'll be out tomorrow morning.
No manual privacy lock, it is thru the electronic lock which they can program their key to engage and release. Another visitor here said a staff person entered TWICE after knocking and ignoring their voice. If privacy is a concern while you are in the room I wouldn't not stay here. And if general decency, policy and manners are expected I would look for another...

After a long day of driving, my wife and I arrived at the Sanger Inn feeling weary but hopeful for a comfortable night's rest. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant.
Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately overwhelmed by a blend of unpleasant odors. The strong scent made it difficult to breathe and lingered on our clothes even after we left. Our room, located on the second floor, was equally disappointing.
The room was clearly in need of significant maintenance and cleaning. We noticed stained carpeting, uneven floors, and a sagging ceiling in the bathroom area. The bedding was worn and thin, and the sheets appeared stained in some areas.
Hygiene was also a concern. Behind the bathroom door, we found a pile of dirt and debris. Dust had accumulated on the towel shelving, and the shower, though newer, was visibly dirty.
While we understand that the Sanger Inn is an economy motel, a clean and welcoming environment should be a basic expectation. Older properties can be charming, but they require proper maintenance and attention to detail. Our stay at the Sanger Inn was unfortunately a...
ย ย ย Read moreMy husband and I stayed at this hotel 2 nights ago and Google said it would be $60, turned out to be just under $80. They told us the room was non smoking yet there was a cigarette burn in the bedspread and on top of the microwave and smelt like cigarettes. We couldn't watch tv because no matter which input source we tried it wouldn't read any channels. We checked in at 1am so we didn't even bother trying to call the front desk to fix it since we had already gotten undressed for bed. We tried to let the front desk know about the tv when we checked out at 7:30 am, there was no one at the front desk, we waited around for about a minute then left. The beds are hard and have a plastic covering under the sheets so you hear that every time you rolled over. Which is the main reason we left so early. But the AC was so cold it would freeze you out. I wouldn't really recommend it, but it was better...
