The parking review must have been for an older location. Around the corner from this bridal shop is El Bohemio, another great place- if you want terrific mexican food. We have gone to this eatery every weekend for years, and when my fiance and I got engaged, I began to notice the gorgeous dresses in the window every time we passed.
I have no money to spend on a lavish gown, and I only went in because my mother was with me and I thought we should have that moment of dress-trying-on.
The owner was wonderful and so sweet. She never once pushed me towards a sale or towards anything I didn't want. Even when I fell in love with probably the least pricey gown in the entire place, she didn't try to upsell me, which was my biggest fear. A poor bride is often an embarrassed bride. I tried on the dress and it was the one. The first dress I ever tried on was the one. We talked alterations (SO AFFORDABLE) and timeline.
Honestly, whether you are poor or rich, going poofy or slim lined, try this place out. The local attitude and comfortable and cozy shop still makes you feel special, and her personality made me so happy my money was going towards a good, worthy business.
I can't wait to keep popping in, she felt like a friend at the end of the trying-on, and it was absolutely just a positive...
Read moreI traveled form Colorado in search of my wedding dress. I fell in love with one in this boutique. I paid well over 2k to have a brand new dress shipped to her boutique. I flew out a second time to have the dress fitted and we agreed on alterations. Afterwards the dress would be shipped back home to me. To my surprise the dress that was sent to me was the dress that she keeps on hand/display for everyone to try on. the dress was dirty, one of the buttons were missing the satin cover on them, the alterations were done very poorly, and the dress was the WRONG SIZE. I called and she was extremely reluctant to give me my money back... at first she only wanted to give me back $490 which is only the cost of the alterations.. she put up a fight but eventually did refund me. I also bought my vail and a headpiece from her, which she refused to refund me for. I was forced to buy a whole new dress (since I had to return my original one because i am not wearing a used dress on my wedding day), veil, and head piece all less than 3 weeks before my wedding. She had made the experience very pleasant in the beginning but now it has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I DO NOT recommend this boutique but if you do shop here make sure you get the dress YOU ARE...
Read moreThis needs to be your first shop stop, especially if you live in SB! I bought my wedding dress here in 22. I had gone to 2 other shops, but Ana Marie had the one for me! The prices at this shop are much better compared to others, even the big name store you'd first think of. I really enjoyed working with Ana Marie too during the whole process. I had made a request to add an additional strap to match the back bottom, she did so perfectly. I also had Ana Marie sew on a couple crystals that were from my moms wedding dress, it came out perfectly. I was very pleased with everything; communication, timing, cost, and absolutely the end result! The dress really was 'the one' (aside from my husband...
