The manager Jeff Jordan Schultz states he is an “Outlaw” on his rear window of his vehicle (refer to the picture on this review) parked at the entrance of the children’s center called Santa Barbara Gymnastics Club. So, is Jeff Jordan Schwartz of Goleta a true outlaw working at a children’s center or just a “wannabe acting as if he’s a tough guy?” Eitherway, extremely poor decision by Jeff Jordan Schwartz. This 26 year old male could attempt to act as if he has a little “common sense.” Clearly the “elevator does NOT go to the top floor” with Jeff Jordan Schwartz of Goleta.

The owners supports Jeff Jordan Swartz the “Outlaw” by employing him and allowing the vehicle to park at the entrance of the children’s center with kids and parents walking by the beater vehicle day after day.

Dangerous environment? Claiming to be an Outlaw on your back window makes you a target. Law enforcement will profile you as well as possibly target you. Also, a target for other criminals that will victimize you. This could take place while the children center is full of kids.

When speaking to employees about the inappropriate statement by the manager. Jeff Jordan Schwartz dismissed it as it was on the vehicle at time of purchase and just never taken off. Now that Mandie and Jeff (Schwartz?) stated today in an email Jeff Jordan Schwartz does NOT want to remove the “Outlaw” signage. Jeff Schwartz is clearly clueless and not able to make good decisions while being around children! Time for Santa Barbara Gymnastic’s Club and Jeff Jordan Schwartz to rethink their potentially dangerous statement along with the dangers that could be brought to the children’s center. Again, avoid this children’s center which is a narrow metal barn warehouse.

Yes, I did a “Chargeback” today on my credit card in the amount of $950 for future classes and lessons.

Parents take your children to The Girls, Inc down Hollister Avenue 3 miles where the operation is much more professional and a better equipped gymnastic center with true gymnasts teaching lessons.

Wonderful facility, the only one of its kind in Santa Barbara area. After reading several reviews on here, there seems to be a common gripe about the website, Billing, and maybe having some younger / newer coaches. I feel like it’s up to you the parents to get as involved as possible if you have high expectations. If your child requires extra attention, then participate in the class, stay by their side, or get private lessons. As far as Billing goes, get clarification on how it works. All gyms and membership facilities have a fine print that you want to be as educated as possible about before committing to automatic payments. So giving this business such low reviews based off of that single experience doesn’t really speak to the net positive this business has on the community. I think if you’re looking for individualized coaching, then you have to pay for private lessons. And coaches are young because it’s a hard job to do, personally I’m grateful that they have as many as they do. We’ve only had good experiences here and we know families who have also had positive experiences here. I’m sure there could be some business end or customer service improvements, but so far our family is happy with their service and what they...

My daughter attended spring camp there. On the second to last day she had a head injury, and I was told by my babysitter who picked her up that she was alone in a chair and had cried herself to sleep. I was not notified by the staff at SB Gymnastics Club. The ill trained instructors did not know drowsiness is a sign of a concussion. A day and a half later she complained of headaches. She got a CT scan. One of my least favorite memories was seeing her gassed down for this procedure. It was deemed that the headache could be related to trauma. Gross negligence on their front.

In addition to this nightmare, the website said after-care would be $50, but was emailed days before the camp began that it was a misprint and actually $250. I would not have signed her up for a 5 day camp that would cost $600 total. With other camps full and desperate for child care, I had little choice. I complained to Sam Sarmiento, the owner, but he effectively said too bad. He granted me a $75 credit for my frustration, but why the heck would I want my daughter to return to this gym? Probably one of the worst experiences...
