El Rincon Bohemio — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

This place is like home. Food is always hot and delicolious. Staff, well thats what makes it like home. All of,then arent warm and fuzzy BUT, ALL of them have a special uniqueness about their great service that makes you as the customer feel welcome, cared for, and always remembered. We have been,going there,for years and when,my son was born was when I really noticed their attention to detail for each amd every customer they knew. We couod get busy or move or whatever but before you know,it its been,over a year that we haven't gotten back there but they still remember exactly what we like and HOW WE like it as,soon as,they would see us. I only gave 4 stars because they don't have a liquor liscen. Thats their one downfall. Everything...

With the plethora of mediocre Mexican food available in Santa Barbara, this place is just another "meh."

Have had good experiences here in the past, but tonight ordered take-out for dinner, arrived & was told my order was not ready. Waited around for 10 min. Checked in with another staff member & again told order not ready. Waited an additional 10 minutes to then be told they never got an order for me. Was told that perhaps I called another restaurant, despite having ordered an item with a name unique to their menu. Lame. Offered nothing, except the opportunity to order dinner anew & then wait additional time. Don't waste your time here. Mediocre at it's best, when they do...

We've been going here since my son was a baby (14 now) and it is one of our FAVORITE places to eat and here's why, the staff are professional, quick and really its because they always know us when we arrive. We have a lot of grandparents, other family, baseball buddies etc...and no matter who we go with those gals practically have our order in by the time we sit down. They have watched my son grow and go through many stages but have never mistaken him and remember his special little request that would make or break dinner.
