I wanted a men's sweater in a solid color in small or medium and there were zero viable options. Then I looked for women's athletic wear, and there was only one rack of sale leggings and a handful of Nike products, plus a ton of ridiculously priced sweats all crowded in the back. Seriously, it's January and you don't have athleticwear?? Inventory at this location is a major miss.
Very few staff in a huge store, although the one cashier was very friendly. The store is not very attractive, and it's not a fun shopping experience. The regular price items are by designer, but the sales stuff is all lumped in in the middle, so it can be a major undertaking to find an item, and there are few staff if any on the floor. The designer sections are either quite empty, or choked with too many products.
The sales stuff can be good, but it is the least organized that I have ever seen. No effort to even sort it by size or category. This location has "Macy's Backstage" which is like Ross/TJ/Marshalls off-price merchandise. It's not really clear that's the setup, so it adds to an even more confusing situation where one type of item can be spread over three or...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst Macy's in existence. I have tried several times recently because it is conveniently located and I didn't want to order online. Every experience save one was awful. Checking out only to find out the discount posted was not applied (twice)...sales people who skipped over the part where I can enter my phone number for discounts and points, pushy sales people acting like there was something wrong with me because I didn't want to open a credit card for an additional % off...dirty floors, messy dressing rooms, low stock (or no stock - what is going on in the make-up section?). The people who work there seem miserable or at least take no pride in their work. One exception: there was a gentleman in the men's suits department who was exceptional. Great customer service and knew his stuff. I wish I had written...
Read moreHorrible customer service! For what we pay and spend in your stores you should provide your employees with customer service training. The sales representative in the men's department has absolutely no customer service skills. I can't identify her as she didnt have a name tag. Well, this is what occured: I waited for her patiently to assist me because she was with another client. When she was finished ringing out the client I proceeded to ask her a question but she just walked away without even acknowledging me and when8 she returned, very rudely, she said she had another customer before me. This does not justify her attitude she could have politely told me she would be right with me instead of ignoring my question and then coming back to me in a rude manner. I would expect better from someone who is getting paid to...
