I joined RSTR fitness for their 6 week challenge that started in the new year. I know from their personal dedication it would be a great program to be a part of. I live in Canada so I did the online cardio kickboxing. I absolutely LOVED it! I loved it so much I signed up to continue after the 6 weeks. Many of my classes were with Fil. He is a great instructor and knows his stuff. He is always doing the workouts with us and was always encouraging me while doing them. He always found a way to “switch up” each workout while keeping some key components to them. After every work out I was sore ( the good sore) I felt muscles in my body I didn’t even know I had. My balance improved, my weight improved, I lost inches ( everywhere) and I felt stronger and stronger every day. I also got the privilege to be trained by Kelsee. She is so inspiring and encouraging through out our class. She knows how to push me just a little bit more then I would push myself. She inspires me to choose a healthy path and push myself day to day. She knows what she’s doing and puts together a workout that is fun and challenging. She is always there to talk to about my food, answer any questions that I have. She even tells me to have a cheat meal once in a while. Her knowledge on how the food and workouts parallel makes me confident I made the right join choosing RSTR. Kelsee not only has trained me physically but mentally as well. RSTRing my mind and encouraging me in my faith.
I lost 8 pounds in 6 weeks and so many inches I had to make a new belt hole so I could keep my pants on! I feel incredible and I am excited to see where I will be in another few months.

Read moreLove the RSTR family and what they offer. It’s a variety of personal strength training where you get a one on one (or you can do it with a friend too!) and cardio kickboxing. I’ve had the chance do both. I love the personal training sessions. It’s a great way to build your form and confidence by having them dedicate that time to observe you and correct you where needed. You’re always being encouraged to push yourself to increase your weights as you gain strength and you walk out of there feeling really sore but also really strong.
The cardio kickboxing is also just as amazing where you get 45 minutes of high intensity kicking and punching, it’s a wonderful stress reliever. The class is taught by Fil, who is a black belt 🥋 and he can help guide you in your form to prevent injuries. The music is always loud and fun! The classes are small and intimate so you don’t feel like you’re being overlooked as is the case with a large crowd of people in a class.
You get to know the people that join the RSTR family and it makes the experience that much more fun. Kelsee and Fil are constantly reaching out to their clients and making those personal connections, it really makes you feel more like a family than a gym where you’re just another paying client.
