This is mainly a baseball field but there is also a playground behind the baseball field and lots of grass for kicking balls around. You are not supposed to bring dogs off leash but of course many people do. There is a parking lot, but it's not very large. The parking lot is on the Lafayette street side.
This is not very heavily used so it's a good place to go if you like to have privacy. The field is edged with large pine trees and borders a ramp that goes over the train tracks into San Jose.
This park also borders where the Alameda becomes El Camino Real, so it borders a lot of busy traffic. If you cross the busy El Camino Real about 2 blocks away there is a dog park where you can take your dogs off leash as well.

Finally frustrated we gave up and were returning when on the way we saw this park and decided to try it out. It was very perfect if you are okay to play without a court and points and all. The park has big trees on one side which cast long shadows. This made sure we didn't have to play in the sun. The wind were very light too. So it was neither hot not very windy. There is a sandlot for baseball and then a very large field with a few places to bbq!
I went to this park relatively frequently when I attended school here. The place usually has a really nice breeze going which was nice especially during the summer.
