Centre Pointe Village — Local services in Santa Clarita

Pretty good variety of stores. 50% of the traffic is going towards Walmart or Sam's Club. It would be great if they could add more fast casual eateries and fill the void space to the left of Joann's... that space seems to turn into a halloween costume store for a month or so every year. The traffic lights by Golden Valley need adjustment...takes WAY too long to make the left to go into the plaza. The parking lot layout is decent, but for some reason it can be confusing to new drivers because of the slope or random tree islands. The parking lot needs a lot more shade or bigger trees...95% of the parking lot has full sun exposure so you're almost guaranteed to bake during the summer. That's my main petpeeve with this plaza...lack of shaded parking spaces. It looks kinda cheapo...

Getting there. Looks like they are performing a face and parking lot refresh. Desperately needed - was looking shabby, and run down, including the parking lot. Half doesn't have any parking spot paint - its a free for all as there is no longer any delineation as to where to park.
