I've been there 5 time, trying to buy a bench press and weight set (300lbs). First weight set was $199. I asked an employee how long will this promo stand. He said come in before Sunday 25th, this month (February) because that will be the last day. I didn't take my SUV so I had to come back. I ask if everything can be ready and he said "YES" (i only leave 8min away) Upon my arrival, the equipment was not ready. Waited 32min for someone to help. Went to the front 2 times and both times the were sorry, and they will have someone right over. No one came. AND this location is never super busy at all. When I said enough as I was walking out I saw 4 ppl gather in front of the register laughing and hanging out. The girl saw me and said nothing. Went back again the next day and again waited for 40min, this time I went and had to seek someone for help again everyone was "busy" asking each other what their plans were for the weekend. Finally had help. But now there are problems, 1) the 300lbs bar set is now 209.99 OKAY fine no problem then they don't have the bench in stock. How??? Said that they thought they had 3 in the back. Okay, I'll take the display one. But no they can't sale it. I check on line and what do you know they have both items ready for me to pick up at the location I was at. When I showed the employee the site he said they have not updated the site and it's wrong. I gave up. I'm just one person 3 children and a huge family that enjoy sports. I can for sure let you know the business of your future will be a couple of customer less. We have spent so much money at your store have 2 credit cards and were looking forward to the future. But we don't matter to a big company like Dick's sporting goods. Found the bench and weight set with a couple of extra stuff I need for my son at AMAZON. The best part the price and...
Read moreI was shopping in store and was looking for a product, DSG Ball Control Soccer Shoe Bands, and was told by a staff member you didn’t have that product In store and only had a tape on style. I looked it up on line where I had seen it before and showed two different employees the item online. They proceeded to radio the same employee I had already asked and all he offered was the same product he had already offered and seemed annoyed that I was asking again. I was told that sometimes the inventory on line can differ from inventory in store and I understand that that does happen. My issue is no one besides me actually looked for this product and verified that it wasn’t in the store. I proceeded to order the item online, through the mobile app, and received an email within the hour that my order was ready for pick up. So after spending about half an hour in the store I left and then had to drive back to pick up the items that the store “didn’t have in stock“ when I was there before. Read moreWaste of Time! Called in to ask if I can get my reel restring. They tell me yes we can. I tell them ok I should be their in about 30 minutes. Head over 40 minutes later. I go to the fishing section. Page for assistance. Once they show up I'm told that they can't do services at this time of day. Still 90 minutes till they close. I explained that I had just called in to ask and they told me no worries come on in. I'm told leave your reels and they can do the service first thing in the morning. I leave my info and my reels. About 11am I get a phone call telling me, we're sorry but we don't have the adaptors to restring conventional reels, only front facing reels. I asked why wasn't I told that. They had no response. I go pick up my reels, I don't even get a sorry, or an acknowledgement of my presence. They hand me my reels as he is walking away. Worse customer service. And a total waste of time.
