This is by far the worst Popeyes that I have ever been to in my life (and I've been to A LOT of them, including the OG full service restaurant in Louisiana). This location was my 3rd time visit since it first opened. Compared to the Popeyes in Newhall, the food here is REALLY BAD. The server that greeted me was nice (all of the staff were nice) she had this "I really don't want to be here" demeanor though. She took my order, I always ask for the chicken that just came out of the fryer to make sure that it's fresh and hot. That was no problem. I watched a batch come out "fresh", and that's what I got. I ordered fries that also came out "fresh", red beans & rice, and an apple pie. I went to my car to eat it (I haven't felt comfortable eating in their dining room ever since there was a shooting at this location, but I digress), and the food was lukewarm - cold. How does that happen?! I watched the food come out, but I noticed that there was no steam coming from any of the food. Usually when hot food comes out you can see the steam emanating from it. This was not the case. The red beans and rice were putrid. It smelled and tasted horrible. Really bitter. I didn't even bother eating it. The biscuit was hard as a brick. The 1st thing I tried were my fries and I went back in to get new ones. The manager happily replaced them with "new" ones. Would you believe that they too were soggy and lukewarm? I tried the other items afterwards. It was all gross. I gave up and trashed my food. I blame myself. I should've known better based on the previous 2 visits. The one star is for the apple pie. Read moreFirstly let me start a year back when I used to do post mates; picking up food from this location has always been chaos. Every time I had to get orders always a 20 min plus wait time this happened several times to the point that I would rather loose the order than go pick up here. Forward to today, 2 cars in the drive through and an empty parking so not busy really, I order a simple 16 piece and pull up to the window only to be asked to park up front and the food will be brought to us. This is not uncommon at fast food restaurants so I go ahead and pull to the front 25 min later they are still not out with my food. So we walk inside and there’s like 7 employees in there and none of them know why I am there. I ask for my order and they didn’t even believe me that I was waiting for my order. They had to go back on the history to find my order even though I had my receipt at that point they said they forgot about it and that they would work on it 10 min later I get my order. About 50 min spent here waiting for my food. Not really fast food. Getting home to eat; they got my order wrong and didn’t give me spicy chicken like I ordered they gave me regular. The Mac and cheese literarily has chunks of unmelted cheese? Maybe burnt cheese? Regardless chunks of undesirable cheese with a weird texture. Read moreThis is the worst popeyes I’ve ever experienced. I wish I could give this location zero stars. The manager, Josh is rude and condescending. I placed the an order at the wrong location, was told to contact customer service for help. Customer service told me they won’t help and next time to have location services enabled (which I do, the app didn’t pick up I was in Stevenson ranch and not canyon country). I didn’t pick up the food. The manager, Billy told me all he can do is not make the order, which he said they wouldn’t, but a separate “manager” Josh said they did make the order. Too it off when I called the woman who answered said she was also a manager. Guess 3 “managers” work at the same time huh… don’t order from this lying, stealing location. Filing a dispute with my bank for the charges and I will NEVER order from Popeyes ever again, not just this location, but ever.
Owner’s response: “ We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future...” shows me not only do you not care what customers go through, but don’t care to resolve any issues a customer might have.
