I cannot even begin to describe how upset I am with this companies customer service. I have made an incredible amount of attempts to reach someone who can assist me regarding my stay from a month ago. We were due to check out the same day Hurricane Sally would have been at its worst (9/16). The hurricane was not predicted to turn in the direction of this location, however, the day before our check out date, we were notified that the hurricane was, in fact, turning in the direction of this resorts location and local officials stated there would be sever storm surge and advised any one who would be threatened by the storm surge to locate to a safer location. Therefore, we hurried up and checked out the day before our original check out (9/15) at 9am. I emailed the same individual that helped me extend my stay and charge my card to inform them and I was ignored. When the hurricane came and went, I emailed again and was told “we don’t do refund for early checking out”. This was not a voluntary check out. There was a hurricane due right for us in which local officials advised it would be devastating to those who were near where the storm surge would flood certain locations up to 6 feet. It would not have made sense to check out the morning the hurricane would make landfall where my family would be in danger. When I responded and further explained my situation, I was ignored again. I then received an email asking me to provide feedback regarding my stay. I explained my situation there as well. It has been two weeks and I have not heard anything back regarding my feedback. I am not one to get upset or disappointed easily. I have NEVER left a one star review until now. But, I think it is incredibly disappointing that I have been ignored countless times and was told “we don’t do refunds” when a hurricane changed direction last minute and we were right on the bay and next to the beach where flooding and high winds would have been at its worst the day of our check out. I would have never extended my stay if I knew that, not only a hurricane was due our way, but I would receive such poor customer service regarding our involuntary departure. Read moreGreat location and facilities. I would have given 5 stars but the 3 bedroom condo unit comes sparsely stocked with everday essentials. We had 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 pouches of dishwasher detergent and two "small" pucks of body soap. No trash bags, not any type of cleaning supplies for kitchen/dishes and 2 small 8 gallon trash cans. The unit was cleaned out of any evidence that it had previously been occupied. Usually there are some kitchen supplies left behind like trash bags, coffee filters, Saran wrap, storage bags, cleaning sponge, dish liquid, etc. Also, the unit was not as clean as it should have been. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher because the soap dispenser didn't release, our feet were black from walking barefoot on the floor tile, the sliding door glass was dirty and the large patio was covered with sand. The condo is located on the bay side and offers a wonderful swimming pool and lazy river. Your literally just steps away from the bay or about a 2 minute walk across the road to the Gulf, white sand beaches, and The Boardwalk and Pier.
