It was a nice venue with an overlooking balcony, and don't worry security is top notch as they will make sure you don't bring in any illegal fruit or drinks from home. But in return they will charge you for the fine food and drinks they offer. And even better every one can go home with diarrhea as they allow you to grab your own pretzels with no tongues, and all the cutlery is right by the door way without proper sanitizer or silverware plastic to protect it from germs. Also, the bathrooms were above par if you needed the facilities, just make sure you go up on arrival as they were not cleaned or sanitized throughout the day. YUCK! Probably the worst venue I have ever attended. And parents if you want to get tipsy and over served while your children perform, well let's just say there was plenty of that going around. And the seating and lighting was awful. $30/ to enter a performance you can't ser from anywhere, but the front couple of rows. Not impressed. Get some gloves and have people serve food. Read moreSlammedEnuff was a Slam Dunk at Destin-Fort Worth Convention Center!" Went to SlammedEnuff on Sunday 07/20 at the Destin-Fort Worth Convention Center, and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! This venue is perfectly suited for an event of this caliber. The sheer amount of space allowed for an incredible display of vehicles without feeling cramped or overcrowded, even with the massive turnout. The lighting inside was excellent, making all those custom paint jobs and intricate details truly pop for photography. Getting in and out was a breeze, and I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the day. Kudos to the Destin-Fort Worth Convention Center for providing such a top-notch facility. It made the SlatedEnough show even more enjoyable, and I'm already looking forward to future events here! Five stars,...
Read moreI came here for a cheer competition it was part of the first wave of contenders during the victory competition battle for the fort. The first wave a competitors were anywhere from Age 4 and 5 to age 8 or so. They did not even give us the basic necessities like going to the bathroom for these children. They told us to go down the road to use the Tom Thumb down the street which in turn the Tom Thumb ended up closing their bathroom because the center was sending people to their location. This was horribly handled. I understand that they were doing the best they could for covid-19 but leaving about a hundred or so little children outside for over an hour with the need to pee and not offering the basic necessities was ridiculous. I hope that next year I can change this review and that...
