I do not see how anyone would give this place 5 stars. After dinner at the Crab Trap we decided to stop in and get our sons a necklace and daughter a bracelet. After picking out the ones they wanted we went up to the register. Two women were behind the register folding clothes. I understand being busy, I’ve worked in retail but I’ve never just blatantly looked at someone in their face and ignored them. No “I’ll be with you in just a minute” or “let me get someone to check you out”, nothing. They were 3 (maybe 4) employees in the store and not a single one had any interest in checking us out. After standing at the register for 5 minutes, watching the two ladies chitchat and giggle literally 3 feet from the register, we left the stuff sitting there and walked out. Luckily we went next door to surf side and found what we were looking for (for $7 cheaper too!!!) and the single employee at the register had no issue checking us out and was quick and pleasant. I stopped in with my family after having dinner and Alaina M who was at the cashier desk was absolutely rude! She acted as if she didn’t want to be at work and checking me out was the worst part of her day. I asked if they offer military discount and looked at my with disgust and stated “only for active” to me as a 100% disabled veteran who has a military id I have never been denied a discount seeing that I do have a id. She couldn’t answer that question though. when I gave her my credit card she again looked at me with disgust asking for an id when given she snatched them both out my hand. I had some family come down to visit, and they like to go down to the beach (Boardwalk) when they visit. I stayed behind to watch the waves. They happened upon this store and were very impressed with the customer service they received. I believe they said they really enjoyed the help and banter they had from Jessica!! She was very helpful and kind as well as funny, they told me. They enjoyed her and said the store was intriguing. I believe they said they also purchased some things as well and that the store had some pretty cool things inside and didn't forget to leave out without taking a few pictures as well. They seemed to enjoy their visit at this store today on their Boardwalk...
