We have a 3.5 year old Australian Shepherd and he can be WILD. We've taken him to many different places for daycare and boarding, and always had at least one issue. Either he'd come back scratched and hurt, or over exhausted from unsupervised playtime, or we'd go days (even the entire time sometimes) without getting any updates on him. My partner found FLH via instagram and we took a great leap of faith with trying someone new despite being kind of anxious about it because, this time, we had to leave Max for 2 whole weeks as we were getting married + going on our honeymoon immediately after, and we had never been away from him that long. Not only did we absolutely love seeing the place and yard at the meet and greet, but the way Kyle reassured us had us sold immediately. We appreciated the constant updates throughout his stay, but seeing his instagram stories where we could really see him interacting with other pups and the way his day was going was truly special. The price point is amazing and beyond reasonable; dog care can get very expensive and nothing guarantees your dogs will get the same attention you give them, but Kyle goes above and beyond for these doggos and has become our favorite provider from now on. Max came home healthy, fed, happy and scratch free! Would 100% recommend Feels Like Home Dog Care for any pet parents looking for great care and love for their dogs. My sister + I decided to bring our dog, Scrappy to Feels Like Home Daycare for overnight boarding. We were the ones having anxiety about leaving Scrappy for the night but everything went smoothly from the time we dropped Scrappy off to the time that we picked him up.

Drop off was seamless as we were greeted by an employee and the owner, Kyle which made us feel comfortable with leaving Scrappy for the day. Throughout the day, Kyle sent photos of a relaxed Scrappy in his favorite room...the kitchen and outside in the yard with his new friends. Kyle kept us updated regarding how Scrappy was doing which gave us more peace of mind.

When it came time to pick up Scrappy the next morning, we could tell he was at ease which was a huge relief for us. He wasn't anxious or stressed, just very relaxed, very happy and he seemed more confident which was a very different experience from overnight stays with a big business since he's usually needier, more tired and stressed out the following day. We saw the difference just having Scrappy stay overnight in a home setting that provided the warmth where he felt loved and where he received attention that he needed and we are sooo grateful for Feels Like...

We recently went out of town and needed a place to board 2 of our Labrador retrievers. This is the first time they have ever been boarded. We were nervous as one of our dogs “Jackie” is a rescue. Jackie has a lot of anxiety and has nipped at other dogs before. Kyle reassured me that he did not require all of the dogs to be best friends, rather respect their space and tolerate one another. We did bring their kennels in case they wanted them as a safe place. Well we could have saved time and effort and left those at home! Thor and Jackie settled in right away, making themselves at home. Kyle sent us multiple pictures a day sharing with us all the fun they were having. They made several new friends and enjoyed snuggling with Kyle at the end of the night. For my labs it really did “Feel Like Home.” They were excited to see us when we picked them up, but they both crashed as soon as we got home. They had a blast.
