Santee IGA — Local services in Santee

They have good food but the customer service is awful while getting food from the bar…I asked for my meat that came along with my meal to be placed on a separate plate because I dont like my meats to be piled on top of my food to get soggy…they charged me full price for my meal that was supposed to include the meat and then charged me for my meat separately also when the MEAL COMES WITH A MEAT!!! And then the old ladies in the kitchen cooking and the ones serving are rude, snappy, and act like the food is going home with them at the end of the shift, in there rolling there eyes and mouths all twisted up with attitudes …I’ve never seen a crew tell paying customers how they should get their plates made(the guy with the dreads too)…and then upcharged them for not wanting it messily and nastily piled up...

I went in there today on my way home from work and for the most part I like the store it’s clean and always stocked but the lady who rang me out today was horrible she had a plastic grocery bag on her head didn’t greet me when I came up into the line rang up my stuff I had two big jars one of Mayo and one of mustard and a 20lb box of chicken she didn’t even put them on the other side of the counter for me to put back in my cart I had to go back to the front and pick them up and carry them to my cart and she didn’t even wait for me to get my stuff before she rang up someone else . Very rude and not good customer service at all I stop at this store a good bit because it’s on my way home from work but I will not be back and think...

It's Sept 7, 2017 and I just bought a spoiled chicken from here! I called and the manager said oh I can give you your money back... like of course you will but at this time Gas is scarce because of the hurricane and I'm trying to get ready to evacuate but not I have to waste more gas driving back to this store for them to replace this spoiled meat that shouldn't of never been sold. Gas prices has skyrocketed due to the hurricanes and the most this manager said to me was she can give me my money back or exchange the meat... like wow no type of...
