Avoid Thai House like the plague! The service is a masterclass in neglect. I called 30 minutes ahead for takeout on a Wednesday late afternoon, thinking I'd save some time. Little did I know, I was signing up for a crash course in patience once I arrived to pick up. After waiting for what felt like a geological era, I finally got a waitress to greet me to grab my take-out order. She told me that my 2 entree and appetizer order was not ready and worst, not even prepared. No remorse or apologies, felt more like a "Haha, we got you!". After confirming I still wanted the order I placed, she casually walked to the back to get the orders in and after waiting another 20 minutes, I was finally able to leave with some food.

And as if the service and wait time weren't bad enough, the food was the grand finale of disappointment. I don't know what was more undercooked – the chicken or my enthusiasm for ever returning. The veggies were limp, the noodles were mushy, and the flavors were as dull as dishwater. They've managed to turn Thai cuisine into a culinary nightmare.

Be prepared to age a decade waiting. And when the food finally arrives, it's a gamble between undercooked chicken and veggies that look like they've seen better days.

Save your taste buds and your sanity – eat anywhere else but here. If you're into wasting time, money, and appetite, this is the...

We found this place by accident while making a quick pit stop along I-95. We actually stumbled upon the old (now closed) location closer the highway which directed us to the new location literally 200 feet away. So happy that we found it!

The owner was very humble, friendly and had a glow in his eyes when speaking about his food. You could immediately tell how much he loved what he was doing and how much pride he took in his food. The waitress was very friendly too and was very happy to recommend her favorites. She clearly was very fond of the food too. That was a very good sign.

We wanted to be on our way quickly so we ordered take out. The food took about 15 minutes to prepare. This isn't a fast food place with pre-made food sitting in a warming box. Everything was freshly made to order and tasted absolutely delicious. We tried Ba Mee Moo Dang, spicy shrimp, chicken lo mein and the sampler platter. Ended up eating everything to the very last bit. Everything was executed to perfection. Nothing was overly sweet or oily or salty, just perfect. The flavors were spot on. The only thing is that the skewered chicken was flavorful but had a tough texture.

Wish we lived close by so we could become regular customers. I hope to visit again...

Great discovery, great food, great people! (การค้นพบที่ยิ่งใหญ่อาหารที่ดีคนที่ดี!) I am a fan of really good food, all kinds. I especially like finding an amazing restaurant in places you'd never think to find one. Tonight, I took a chance on this little Thai restaurant in Santee, SC, as I've recently moved to the area. Now I'm a big fan of Asian food, therefore I've tried many, many places who thought they knew what they were doing, but this place has a menu selection that appears to be tried and true. The menu had quite a selection (Japanese, including sushi, Chinese, and Thai), I asked Sam for a suggestion and it was the #14 Volcano Flounder. It was perfect choice as it was nicely prepared, crisp with a great Thai spice sauce that was an exact spice Level 5 on their scale of 0 to 10 (0 for No spice and a10 being HOT!). I got a Thai spring roll and won-ton soup, both of which was some of the best I've had anywhere, and believe me I've tried plenty!! Tonight I carried it out, but it's a great little place that could be addictive!!! I can't wait to try it again and be a long...

New location under construction. 7 pm arrival two tables present. Half way greeted by 2 waitresses who stated to sit where I liked. Shy, young waitress timidly takes drink order. Ask about bar menu and there are none. They serve saki, wine, and beer. No further elaboration. Rap music and Reggaetone as musical ambiance. Loud mouth daughter who apparently runs the front speaks extremely loud about personal issues to friends/customers arriving. She stated you better order sushi before I go back to college because it won’t be the same. Ordered seafood pad Thai, $18+, and fresh spring rolls, $3. Requested heat level 7, got about 3 heat. Noodles over cooked as well. Fresh roll was average with subpar sweet dip. $6 glass of Chardonnay wine. Completed meal as was still hungry. Im a 40+ year old male, weighing at 155 pounds. If you never had good Thai food, this might suffice. Plus. They have a designated gluten free menu. Menu wrapped in cheap office binder. I’ll pass next time.

Absolutely love the food!!!!! I was ecstatic to find this on HappyCow. They have a vegan menu that you can find online, that is so rare and I appreciate it so much. The women were so nice and I saw one cut herbs from the plants out front, cant ask for more. Thai dishes I could never get vegan, they offer. Like the Tom Yum soup which was delicious!!!!! Extremely flavorful & #7 on the spicy scale is a perfect spicy where I don't need water. The vegetable red curry could of used a bit more flavor. The homemade lemonade was a great choice, cheap and a huge quantity thats the real deal💛 absolutely delicious!!!!!!! My friend got the teriyaki duck with shrimp and he ate it in two seconds haha. I will be stopping by here from my drives from fl<->Fayetteville nc from now on!

You just never know where you’re going to find a good restaurant. Halfway through our drive to Orlando, we stopped overnight in Santee, SC and decided to eat at Thai House, a small restaurant just across the way from our hotel. Holy moly, the food was amazing! It’s run by a Thai couple—the husband is the server and the wife cooks. We had curry puffs, basil rolls, chicken larb, and red curry tofu (and mango sticky rice, which we ate before i coukd even think to take a pic). Everything was just wonderful! If you’re in Santee, I highly recommend eating at Thai House!
