Update to owners response: Let me clarify a few things because you seem to have memory loss. I absolutely brought my issue to your attention when it first happened….I added what was supposed to be 2 standing floor pieces in addition to my $722 charge. I sent you pictures from your own page to clarify what I would be getting in the colors I chose. You told me YES they would be those STANDING pieces, just shorter. 4ft instead of the tall ones pictured. And would be an extra $175 each totaling $350.00. To which I said no problem. I arrive at my party to see NOT standing pieces but rather 2 pieces identical hanging in random spots on the wall. When I told you, I was not happy with them, you told me there was nobody there to give you direction. Having nobody there to give you direction has nothing to do with you not giving me what I ordered, which was two STANDING pieces, not two garland pieces hanging up on the wall. You also had my phone number to contact me if you felt like you had an issue. Then you proceeded to tell me that you would give me a credit towards my next order with you instead of refunding me any money because you technically gave me “what I ordered” which you did NOT but ok, I agreed. I said thank you. And I tried to hire you five months later for my son’s first birthday. I was asking you ideas and questions about the space I showed you and you would answer me days sometimes even a week after I sent you a question. As it was getting closer and closer to his party with no response from you, I ended up telling you Not to worry about doing my party. So not only did you know that I was not happy with my order, but I also gave you another chance to make it right and you ignored me to the point that I didn’t want to to business with you. I attached pictures of what I was supposed to get (but shorter in size) and the blue balloons is what you gave me. I paid $350 extra for that lol. Read moreI have used modern girl party twice. Once a few years ago and once recently for an event in Tampa. Communication prior to the event was tough and sporadic. Then, when the time came closer to the event, I was told they could be there at a certain time however, the day before the event when I confirmed that information, I was told some thing different. When they did finally arrive, late, took forever to set up. backdrop fell twice. I had to have other people help me put it back up. There were not High winds. It just was not secured properly. For the amount of money spent it was a big disappointment. In addition they forgot two of my 10 balloon colors. Huge fail. Find another vendor who is more responsive and nicer. I would agree with other reviews related to the entitlement in the tone of voice. Don't open a business if you don't have to and aren't prepared to run it...

Lucy stated rudely in documentation that this was the Westin's fault, and not her responsibility to follow through on proper arrangement and stability of the balloons paid for. Very unprofessional and very poor communication/ customer mediation skills documented. Disheartening to say the least.
