I've tried just about anything related to fitness pursuits. This place is tried and true. I felt alone in my fitness endeavors for the longest time. I literally walked through the door of SSCF and was greeted by some awesome and inspiring people. I have gained much more than a Fantastic place to get my sweat on. I've gained a wonderful support group of people who cheer when I have success and lift me up when the going gets tough. I love having one hour a day where I can get out of my own mind and just work and its always changing which means my body can never get comfortable with set routines. I am not the perfect and have plenty of work to do still, but its great rubbing shoulders with the best of the best and being treated as an equal. If you are looking for positive change... I can promise that you'll find it here. The laughs and sweat angels are just a bonus. If you are intimidated and think it may be too hard- come give it a try. I needed some place other than a traditional gym or traditional "group fitness" to help me get motivated, healthy and strong. Was a little worried because I'm older than a lot of the athletes there and definitely not as strong. Until 5 weeks ago, I'd never done a "power snatch" or "Turkish get-up" and definitely can't jump up onto a box. But the coaches here have been super helpful and kind and the whole community there has been nothing but accepting and supportive. I've already seen and feel myself getting stronger and I love the positive environment. Super grateful to have found this CrossFit and this community of awesome people! Since my original review, I’ve made great friends, can totally box jump :), have lost over 30 pounds, did my first toe climb last week, and continue to be encouraged and supported by the amazing coaches. I started coming just over a year ago and I wish I would have started sooner. It can be scary to be the new kid, but everyone is so welcoming, and the coaches take the time to help you every step of the way. Everything can be scaled to any level.
