Horrible experience here tonight. First, we waited to get to the speaker in the drive thru to order for 15 minutes and there were only 2-3 cars ahead of us. We had a simple order and they told us to come to the window to finish ordering, which is fine but when we got there they told us they didn’t have the donuts we were asking for. We said we would just come inside to order because it would be easier to see what they did have. Upon going inside, we found that they only had glazed, cake batter, and some sort of cake donut. I understand that at night they will have less than during the day but we came in 4-5 hours before closing. I would think they would keep it more stocked than that even at 6-7pm on a Saturday night. We decided to be easy and just get glazed donuts and ordered simple coffee drinks (an original iced latte and a black iced coffee) because that is what we went there for to start with, the employee had to ask for help entering the order, which I get we have all been new once. The person that was called to help enter the order made our drinks and didn’t seem to know what they were doing either. My partner ordered the plain black iced coffee & he received it with cream and sugar the first go round and then they corrected it, but they literally brewed a pot of hot coffee (which took the employee about 5 minutes to figure out how to make) and poured it in a PLASTIC cup and added a scoop of ice. Mind you, hot drinks should never go in plastic, not to mention the ice melted before we even left the building. Then, it was another few minutes before I got my drink and we were the only order the employee was working on. I’m pretty sure I ended up with hot espresso, milk, cream, a random syrup, and liquid sugar/sweetener with a scoop of ice. Needless to say, it tasted burnt and awful and now I feel nauseas. Y’all, I’m not kidding I work in the food service industry and have leadership experience, so I feel for these people, but this was absolutely ridiculous. There were 3 employees fulfilling and taking orders and one in the back making donuts (which seemed to know what they were doing to what I could observe), but the other employees all just seemed new and young. I don’t know where the shift leader or a manager was, but there needed to be one. Also the back door where they keep cleaning products, food products, etc. was open the whole time we were in the drive thru (15-20min) and I’m pretty sure that violates health code. I love Krispy Kreme and have been to many in my life, but tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had. They really need to teach customer service, professionalism and have more leadership or a seasoned worker working with the newer people. Someone needs to take charge here, because I’ve never received such poor and care free service. (Let me add the employees were nice and apologized but they shouldn’t have been left to handle it on their own, they were way too playful and carefree or...
Read moreWe pulled into the drive through at 10:50. All the lights were on, several people were inside. Online states they are open until 11. Beside the speaker box pacing back and forth is an employee in uniform wearing a headset and talking on her phone. After several minutes go by, we ask her if she works here and she states “I’m on break” and we replied “is there anyone else inside to take out order?” She said “what you trying to get” and we asked what donuts they have left she walked inside, came back outside on the phone still with no headset. Someone else came onto the headset and said “how can I help you” with an attitude. We asked what all do you guys have left and she said “well we just threw everything away, sorry” so we again asked so you have nothing and she sat in silence for several seconds before saying “I can get you original glazed that’s all” and we said that’s fine and ordered. They finally came to the window and continued to be short and snappy. I honestly believe they would not have taken our order at all if we hadn’t been persistent. I understand it being late and people wanting to go home but I also think it’s unacceptable to treat customers like this (coming from someone in fast food management myself). Also, these are honestly the worst donuts I’ve ever purchased from any Krispy Kreme anywhere. They are super cold as if coming out of a fridge, and taste super doughy like they weren’t cooked right. I’m more upset with the attitude of the employees but it was all around a...
Read moreCame in around lunch time and hardly anything on the shelves. A nice gentlemen talked with me and explained they were having issues with getting some supplies from the warehouse. When he realized one of my favorite donuts is the glazed donut, he informed me to come back around 6:30pm and they would be making new ones and I could get some fresh off the belt. We came back and grabbed a dozen. And of course they were amazing. My issue comes with the fact that the young lady that was helping me didn't listen to what I was asking for when I ordered. Aside from the dozen donuts, I also ordered one large hot black coffee and one large iced caramel coffee, creamy and sweet. She hands me 2 large hot black coffees and one with caramel syrup in it. When I mentioned it was supposed to iced coffee, she seemed confused. Then told me that would be a caramel latte. The menu says iced caramel latte and iced caramel coffee. And I specifically said ICED CARAMEL COFFEE. She even repeated it back to me. Yet gave me HOT BLACK COFFEE WITH SYRUP IN IT. I just took the coffee and said forget about it. I ended up throwing the whole coffee in the trash! You can't beat Krispy Kreme donuts. But the customer service of the lady that helped me needs some work. Whatever you do, don't order ICED CARAMEL COFFEE that's sweet and creamy. It tends to confuse the cashier, even when repeated back to you. Didn't even offer a glass...
