Although I do love this salon for many reasons and have been coming here for years for color and cut, the hair extension experience has been a whole different experience. I am beyond disappointed. I decided to get the hand tied extensions after years of getting my hair back to a healthy state(from previous hair stylist) because I wanted more length and fullness. Initially, I was very pleased with the outcome of getting the extensions installed (at no small cost) to just a few days later they became loose at the corners, no big deal, went and had it fixed. Well, within a couple weeks, it happened again. Got it it fixed,…. again. Then, it happened again, only this time it ripped out my hair leaving a bald spot. I then went for my first move up. Was told a certain price for that, only to be charged double. Not impressed. A few weeks after that, it became loose again, on the other side. Pulling at my hair and essentially leaving a bald spot on the other side. I decided I needed to get them removed ASAP. Not only do I have a bald spot on either side of my head, but my hair is extremely thin now due to improper installation. I spent a lot of money to get just 3 months out of the extensions, now I have a lot of damage I have to try to repair and much more...

There aren’t enough positive things to say about this salon and all the talented people delivering on beauty projects every day. They all work with passion and flex their skill sets in the most spectacular fashion. I got to work with two delightful women recently, Haley and Sasha, and not only were they kind and informative, but they truly made me feel welcome and comfortable. All while getting pampered, I got to learn all the ways to take care of my hair, and Sasha had the patience to teach me which products were a perfect fit for my needs and desires. She truly was the perfect ambassador for the product line, as well as the salon. Haley got right to work on my hair goals and didn’t waste any time making my day installing the most amazing extensions. Between the amazing shampoo station, pampering, fun in the chair, and designer hair products, it is quite literally one of the best salons I’ve ever been to. I had amazing interaction with so many people while I was there, but sadly I can’t remember the names of the others. They were just as fabulous and exceeded my expectations. If you’re crossing through Scarborough, Maine, or live within driving distance, I recommend scheduling some time at this salon. You’ll only regret not...

I've been twice now for color and cut. Both times I made my appointment over the phone. The first time I showed up and they pulled me aside saying the person I was scheduled with was way behind, but they could put me with a student in about 20 minutes and they would give me a discount. I agreed and the woman did a great job so I left with the impression I just hit a busy day and since things worked out I decided to give them another shot. The second appointment, they called 15 minutes before the scheduled time when I was already almost there and said the woman I was supposed to see was running a bit behind and asked if I could come a bit later. When I said I was only 5 minutes away she said ok no problem we will make it work. I checked in and then sat in the lobby for over an hour past my scheduled time without being checked on at all. Despite two decent haircuts, its clear they are struggling with their scheduling and are very unreliable and it is not a place to go if you have a schedule to keep. Also the discount I got the first time was not an attempt to make things right as I was lead to believe, everyone gets a discount...
