I am not a very picky person, but the customer service of this store must be improved!!! I ordered an iPhone and when I tried to pick up the phone, I was told the phone was returned to UPS because the store did not accept the shipment from UPS. The man at the front desk told me to go to the ups store in Scarborough, ME and pick up the phone myself. On the next day, I went to the UPS store just to find out the phone was returned back to the shipper. I went back to the store to figure out my next course of action, but no one would talk to me. I waited for 50 minutes while they helped everyone but me. I asked for the store manager's business card and he told me that he ran out of them and he ordered new batch of business cards but they have not arrived yet. Instead he gave me a bogus name that he wrote on a small piece of paper. I know it was a bogus name because I called another store and I asked who is the manager of 456 Payne Rd, Scarborough store and I was given a different name. As result, it was very disappointing to experience such bad customer service. I have been with at&t for over ten years and I have never experienced such poor customer service like this. Please go to any other store, but this one, save yourself the headache. I know I will never go to this...
Read moreI recently visited the AT&T store located in Scarborough, Maine with high hopes of resolving a discount issue, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
Upon discussing a potential discount with a representative at the store, it was promised that the discount would be applied to my account. However, upon reviewing my bill, the discount was nowhere to be found. When I reached out to corporate customer service for assistance, their solution was nothing short of disappointing. Instead of rectifying the issue promptly, they suggested signing up for a $12 annual AARP membership to receive the discount—a discount that should have been complimentary in the first place.
Adding insult to injury, during my interaction with the customer service representative at the store, I was not informed about the $6.50 per line early upgrade fee. This lack of transparency is concerning and reflects poorly on AT&T's commitment to providing clear and honest communication with its customers.
Overall, my experience with AT&T's customer service at the local store and corporate level has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected better from a company of...
Read moreWell, I stopped in here today to return a phone and we were not greeted by the staff, other than “We will be with you when we can” There were 2 employees, one with a customer and one not. The one who was not working with one and stated they are “understaffed” and “would get to us when they could” appeared to be working on a phone and doing some kind of inventory/restocking of product. I could be wrong, but it just really rubbed myself and the 4 other customers who walked in after me, the wrong way. There just appears to be no concern for customers in the store at this location, sadly. After waiting patiently for 5min or so, this employee appeared to have no intentions of helping the customers in the store, and that is when we walked out. We went over to the ATT store in the Maine Mall and were greeted upon arrival and helped immediately. We will be leaving a positive review for the Maine Mall store. It’s close by to this location, so I would suggest you don’t waste your time here, just go to the...
