Beardsley's — Local services in Schaumburg Township

I messaged Mason for a quick hair cut, and within minutes i received confirmation. I've been going here for only a few months. I have really silky hair, so my hair always gets in my eyes and is really hard to work with. As he was cutting the hair, he noticed that my hair looked much better styled up. So he spend a good amount of time trying to trim up and remove additional hair that use to bother me whenever i would style em. During the whole process, he made sure i was getting exactly what i was comfortable with. Over all, he helped me figure out the style of hair that looks good for my hair type. Mason spend quality time detailing the hair. I would recommend heading over there during the week, to get some quality time on your hair cut. I still have had to have walked out...

My first time today. I wanted to try fade haircut for the first time ever. At first it looked good and my hair looked even BUT later after i washed my hair and went out with friends, they noticed that the hair on the back was super uneven some hairs way too long some way too short. I had to go to the nearest great clips right away so someone can fix my hair that was supposed to look great. Totally unhappy. I mean for $35 and $10 tip you guys should do better!. The guy who did my hair gave me a haircut in quick 20 mins and faded haircuts are supposed to take longer when maybe if paying more attention to what you are doing…not happy at all with Preston (the barber). I also had 2 bloody cuts on the back of my neck from the razor. Will not go back. Beware who you choose...

I've been going to Beardsley's for around five or six years. For a couple of years, after Barrington Square Barber Shop closed (due to the death of one of the owners), Beardsley's was one of the only traditional men's barber shops (not counting unisex stylists, i.e. Great Clips, and not counting places like Sports Clips) that takes walk-ins in the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area.

I remember a few years ago when the main barber would gripe about how unreliable the other barber was (sometimes not even showing up for scheduled shifts). That other barber hasn't been around for at least the past year, during which time I've never gone for a haircut during normal expected open hours and found the shop...
