Very disappointing experience

The employee that i unfortunately had the displeasure of meeting was extremely rude. She seemed very annoyed to be helping me and when i would ask her a question she would not speak to me to answer, instead she would just tap on the glass or the products. Yet she was perfectly okay talking to her coworkers. I don’t know if it’s standard for this Michoacana to serve small ice cream scoops or if it was just the employee’s doing, but she would get one scoop of ice cream and would purposely scrape some of it off to make the scoop even smaller. Comparing the amount of the product you are receiving, to what you’re paying, it is definitely not worth it. The music is also so unbearably loud. I hate to leave a mediocre review but that’s exactly what you can expect from here.. mediocre at best. I was excited for this place to open and have been here three times and each time was lacking in flavor. The girl who made my papas preparadas had no idea how to distribute the hot sauce evenly, even after I asked her to twice. The corn was flavorless and basically a cup of corn water that I threw out after one bite. The girl making my fruta con yogurt had to ask her coworker how to make it, should have known it would be lacking. I don’t necessarily think it’s the ingredients or quality that is lacking but the employees making the food might need better training imo. Don't pay attention to these low reviews. Probably miserable people in real life or local competition. I almost didn't go because of 3.4 rating but when I checked out their website I noticed this was their 6th location and I used to go to their Addison location which was very clean (unlike some Michoacana locations) and everything we ordered was always good. Popped in there today around 1230p and 2 of Hanover Park finest cops were also there getting a treat. My 2 kids decided on Nutella crepes with ice cream scoop and I got a 2 scoop in cup. Everything tasted amazing, the lady helping us out was very friendly and my boys couldn't decide which ice cream to pick that she offered them to sample different ones.
