Last time I tried to order smoothies from this location, I arrived around 8:30 or so. A full half hour before closing time and I was told that they closed early because they were "under staffed and overwhelmed with the amount of customers they had that day" I tried to come back with my husband yesterday around 6pm and when I came in we thought they were getting ready to close. All the chairs were up on the tables and all the employees were cleaning. As disappointing as it was that they discontinued the $5 smoothies we placed our orders anyway. We both ordered the same smoothie with the same boost. After paying, they made my husband's smoothie and looked at us wondering why we were still there. They asked me what I order, I told them "the same smoothie he ordered" and they poured a smoothie into a cup and said that it was for me. We both thought our smoothies tasted funny, so we tried each other's, they tasted different. His tasted like it had the booster and mine had bananas in it. Read moreAfter coming to this location every week or two, I was skeptical about giving this review (and being THAT person writing paragraphs on here). However, my experiences have been disappointing the last few times I have been to this location. I agree with many of the reviews on here. Both the positive and the negative. It wasn't until I went inside a couple weeks ago and witnessed the new manager (?) speaking to his employee with so much disrespect.. It's obvious he didn't want to be there and as a customer my honest feedback is that experiencing such an unwelcoming environment makes people reluctant to come back. I know we all have bad days, but a little respect goes a long way. Today, my order was incorrect. The young gentleman was kind about it but I decided not to wait for him to make another smoothie because I saw the unkind manager was there again. Something is truly missing here..whether it's the lack of communication, training, or positive environment in general. I hope they can improve in the new year. It would be sad to see this place...
Read moreMy 5 stars are specifically for the employees that were working on 4/8 around 350/4pm. This is my 2nd time trying Smoothie King out and the smoothies both times have been delicious. Im gearing my 5 stars towards the particular crew because of how they handled the small “issue” with my online order, especially when being talked slightly rude to from a manager, or someone that seemed to be in charge. My smoothie was misplaced and they had to remake it, which was remade within 5min past my given “pick up” time. But i really applaud the way the employees handled themselves when they were talked to on fixing the order. I felt that the person who went about telling them to make my order again could have been a little less “aggressive” i guess is the best word, because it made me feel annoyed for the rest of the employees. And telling another employee how she couldve done her job probably wasnt the best place to bring it up in front of customers.
