Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. I ordered drive thru service. I placed my order at 7:28pmCST. I received it and took it home to eat. Once I was almost done with my food, I pulled a long blonde hair out of the mashed potatoes after taking a bite... I clearly don't have blond hair and no one in my family does. I then went into the store to speak with the manager about my order, showing pictures and videos of my food when I found it. And the employees there just looked at me like it’s a normal occurrence, and thought I was trying to get more food. When I found the hair I gagged, and stopped eating. There was also a black hair in the gravy. I took the picture right down at my plate where I pulled it out of my mouth, I also took a video. As I was speaking to the "manager" about my problem, they said I would have to bring the nearly finished food pretty much back to the store??? All I wanted was my refund, and even more to just see for myself how to handle the situation. EDIT Noticing now in the picture I took, the chicken is also NOT FULLY COOKED!!!!! This place will literally get you sick, don’t listen to the 3 year old 4 star reviews. I also contacted customer service and had a case in review. I am NEVER eating at this store or any other Popeyes ever again if this is how food and safety regulations are being followed. I use to work at Panda express and know all the regulations. These employees could care less of how the food is being prepared for customers to receive it. I also noticed going inside the store the second time to discuss my order, all of the female employees had NO HAIRNET. Surprise?! NO! At this point there would be plenty of other people to work here and follow the guidelines of health and safety. I'm disgusted with my order and the quality of it as well. This store always finds a way to mess up your order. The tenders were not fresh and could obviously tell they were sitting out for too long. After talking to the not so helpful staff and manager, I left without a refund, and i wasn’t gonna come back with my near empty food. Honestly I don't even care about the refund, I just want to inform and care about health and safety in a restaurant environment. The most disgusting part is that I had pretty much almost finished my meal until I found out🤢That meal was my only dinner tonight, so I was hungry and ate fast, I hate to have found out that’s how my order is being prepared and for the staff to have no care or even sympathize. No one should receive food that’s prepared in a kitchen with hair in it. Disgusting. I didn’t even cause a scene even though I wanted to so bad and yell, but i kept my cool. Told the other customers too because they overheard, the other lady in there could vouch for me, she saw all of them had no hairnets on too, but maybe she still got food because that was her only dinner for tonight too. Poor customer service, If I didn't check my receipt and see that they gave me spicy instead of classic chicken sandwichs I would have been in trouble the tried to fix it then they were not supposed to have pickles and did i told the guy who gave me a attitude and had to argue to get 3 more new one's. Then I asked to speak to a manager who came up gave me the 3 new sandwich is without pickle and I asked for some sort of compensation or my money back and she said well I'm not going to give you your money back you kept all 6 previous sandwiches I said no I didn't the gentleman that took them from me set them right there which were sitting right next to her and she said There's nothing more I can do and literally closed the window and walked away from me This is not the 1st time this has happened to me here I was actually expecting a phone call from the last time my order was screwed up and never heard back from anybody from the restaurant very disappointed I highly recommend going to the one in Bloomingdale or not even going to the restaurants at all for management That is so sub par And employees they don't care don't wear masks don't work loves literally don't care just all wanna play around poor...
