Littman Bros. Interiors — Local services in Schaumburg Township

It began when we needed to replace our ceiling fan and light. There was no doubt who we would go to for help. Littman Bros. Years ago, we purchased a front hall chandelier, three hall lights and 3 outside lights. We were and still are pleased with the products.

We were shown an Emerson, Penbrooke fan and light with 2 remotes. It was a little more than we planned to spend but we liked what we saw and thought it would be a good, long lasting product for our home. We purchased the products and are very pleased that we did.

We needed someone to remove the old fan and install the new. Litman Bros have two wonderful men who came out to do the work. They were VERY careful in the movement of a large ladder and through out the work they performed. It was like they were working in their homes. They were professional from beginning to end.

The job was a perfect install and the fan/light combination looks very good. You can not hear the fan at all when it runs. The fan has 6 speeds, 6 light levels and is reversible, all from the wall switch or a remote switch on our night stand. You can’t beat that.

We also had the two installers assist us in replacing 20 bulbs in our hall light as long as the are on site with a proper sized ladder. There were 6 dead bulbs and the others were old. This was the time to replace them all. At the same time we were able to clean each of the glass pieces. They seemed happy to help us. The end result was worth the charge. The lighting is like new.

A new review as of 1/23/24! I worked with MICHELLE CORRADO and I can’t say enough about her customer service along with DAVE. Michelle went above and beyond by listening to my request, what style I’m looking for, and by giving her honest feedback. It is hard to find designers who aren’t in tuned with their clients. Michelle did an amazing job and she has great style and opinions. She’s very humble and went out of her way by thinking outside of the box yet meeting my needs. Thank you Michelle. And Dave is always amazing and always thinking outside of the box!!! Also they make it like sky is the limit! Littman’s has amazing employees that are like family and treat the clients like family.

We love this place and have bought majority of our fixtures from here. They match prices and have great selection. We worked with Rose who is so kind and knowledgeable and have great taste! I would highly recommend visiting this place and...

The people here were nice and helpful - no argument there.

The reason I'm giving one star is due to the prices. This place is expensive. Laughably expensive. My wife and I decided to replace some old light fixtures in our house. We had been saving for a few home improvement projects and we were ready to set some in motion. We stopped by a big box store, and got a rough idea of what the prices were there for some new lighting models we liked.

We made the decision to at least to try and buy from a privately owned business (this is how we found Littman). We liked the idea of paying a LITTLE more to give our business to someone besides the big box store, or IKEA, or someone like that.

When we walked inside and found a light, similar construction and size to the box store model, we turned over the price tag and nearly fell over. The ~$60 light at the box store was for sale for $350 at Littmans!

A sales associate came over to us, and notified us that everything was 20% off. We were polite and nodded, but in the back of my mind, I was thinking "I'm sorry, but you're going to need to come down more like 75% for our business". There was no point in even talking to her after that - it just would have been a waste of both of our time, we were too far apart.

There is no way to justify paying that kind of money for a light.

Back to the box store. Guess China...
