I was doing a DoorDash delivery picking up from there! As how DoorDash works, the order is supposed to be somehow ready or almost ready when I get there, obviously that never happened! When I got there, there was nobody at the front, so I ringed the bell. After maybe 2 mins, a guy came out, he didnāt say hi or anything at all, just pointed his finger on a paper that says wait for 3 mins and then he asked to see what the order Iām picking up is! Right after that, he told me thereās no waffle fires and let me notify the customer! I did that and my order still has a large drink that needs to be picked up! I waited another like maybe 5-8mins, it seemed like the guyās not making the drink so I asked! He told me he needed me to confirm the customer is okay with no waffle fries in case to make the drink! I literally donāt understand the logic behind this, how come the drink canāt be made when the waffle fries is out of stock! So I said can you go make the drink now and he told me he was waiting for me instead of me waiting there to pick up my order! Like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! After that, he told me heās tablet broke, so he doesnāt know what the order isā¦ā¦like omg! I showed him the order and he got it done in 2 mins! Once again, I really donāt understand why do I need to wait 3mins for a 2mins drink before I can ring the bell and how come they accepted this order online but didnāt even know what it is? I also asked why canāt him tell the customer the item is out of stock, he told me he has no information for that which I highly doubt about! In the end, I have to ask a bag for it myself which all restaurant should bag the delivery item the make sure the bag is sealed! Oh also, he told me I treated him badly! Notice to the owner, I saw some one else posted a month ago complain about the guy work there as well, if heās not your friend or family member, you should seriously consider hire someone else! I donāt know how the food is, but my experience of the service is the WORST EVER for the 600+...

I believe in the power of encouragement, and I rarely leave negative reviews ā not because I never encounter flaws, but because I always look for the potential behind them. Thatās why I feel compelled to share my recent experience at Gravitea Boba, not to tear down, but to build up.
The space is clearly designed with heart. The celestial theme is charming, and the staff seemed well-intentioned. But as Carnegie taught, "Abilities wither under criticism; they blossom under encouragement." So let this be an honest nudge, not a harsh rebuke.
When I visited, I waited nearly 20 minutes for a simple milk tea. There were no other customers ahead of me. The drink, when it arrived, was lukewarm, overly sweet despite my low-sugar request, and the boba had the unfortunate texture of being left out too long ā more mush than chew. I politely asked if the order could be adjusted, and while the staff was not rude, they seemed overwhelmed and unsure how to proceed.
No one wants to do a bad job. I left quietly, a little disappointed ā not just in the drink, but because I saw a business that could be so much more.
And Iād be remiss if I didnāt mention the concern shared by others in the local business community: vendors and suppliers whoāve delivered products or services only to be left unpaid, ghosted, or stuck chasing invoices long past due. In Carnegieās words, āThe only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.ā But when good people are treated poorly, even the most patient voices eventually speak up.
To the team at Gravitea: Your vision is delightful. But the experience needs to match the aesthetics ā not just for customers, but for the people behind the scenes helping you succeed. Train your staff. Taste your drinks. Honor your commitments. You have something special here ā it just needs polish, and a little integrity.
Warmly, āA Friend of Potential (and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreZero stars for lack of customer service and terrible experience with owner. Ordered a Thai tea ice blended and it tasted like someone threw up in it, it was that bad. Iāve had this drink at many places and this was by far the worst. Spoke to the owner who was there and explained to her this wasnāt what I ordered and she wanted to charge me to make a new bubble tea because I drank it, instead of apologizing and making a new one. How am I supposed to know it tastes like blended vomit unless I try it? She tried justifying that if you go anywhere and order food and you donāt like it that they wonāt make you a new one and I told her thatās exactly what they do everywhere, itās called customer service. She said itās only $5 and I explained to her itās not about the money itās about customer service, obviously place is dead and no customers around because she doesnāt get this. Asked her to either make me a new one otherwise give me a refund and I wonāt ever be coming back. She very reluctantly gave me a refund and told me to leave, which I gladly did after assuring her that Iād leave her an awesome review sharing my experience so people know what to expect and how they will be treated. Consider yourself warned, safe yourself and go elsewhere.
EDIT: My wife came across online that they had a change in ownership and are Halal now. Only reason I decided to give them another chance and the bubble tea & experience was better this time so Iām updating my previous review/rating. Hopefully this will remain consistent moving forward and Iāll consider further bumping...
