Jos A. Bank — Local services in Scottsdale

People come to Jos A Bank because they're looking for a better-than-average shopping experience, and they expect, for the premium that they pay over department store clothing, to get items that will be both stylish and durable.

In my experience with the two Travelers suits that I purchased here about 10 months ago, while they are stylish enough, they are not durable, and certainly would not be a good choice for someone who actually was traveling a lot in their suits.

The problem becomes much larger when you learn that although the printed satisfaction guarantee/ repair or replace return policy seems very generous, what they don't print on the receipt, but what is the policy in Force, at both the store and online, is that it is up to their discretion whether or not they want to honor it.

I was finally able to get them to honor it after spending about an hour arguing about it between the store and the online representative and supervisor, but I couldn't recommend that anyone else shop here, knowing that they will have a similar experience if anything is ever unsatisfactory with their clothing.

For example, although it is not printed on their refund policies, I found out that their refund policy is voided if there are any alterations to the clothing, but as all suits are sold with unfinished trousers, and every single trouser leg will have to be hemmed, in theory they are building a voided warranty into every single suit they sell.

Also, this particular store manager said that because there were some creases at the Flex Points in the suit pants, that this meant that the pants were soiled. I spent 15 minutes going back and forth with her trying to help her see the very obvious point that something being soiled, and something having creases in it, are two entirely different things, but all she would do is repeatedly refer back to her own, manager-gets-to-chooose version of their return or...

I had a friend and coworker of mine Vince recommend me to Joseph A. Bank. He told me he had a phenomenal experience and to make sure and ask for Justin. I called in before I went to the store to make sure Justin was working which he was, and he was very pleasant to talk to over the phone. My fiancé and I, when we entered the store, were warmly greeted by Justin himself. He asked me what I was shopping for and I told him dress shirts and maybe some shoes and suits. He instantly went above and beyond and brought things over to me, helped me try on clothes, pick colors, styles, and looks; HE WAS NON PRESSURE. This is something I've never had done in any mens store, and it made me feel special and appreciated. He helped me problem solve and find EXACTLY what I was looking for. He continued to check on me and explained everything for me perfectly. Justin got me a smoking deal and I left with over $3500 in clothes for just under $350!! I came to find out as I was checking out that Justin is the store manager. It all made sense. He's where he is for a reason. He is the best for a reason. If you go into Joseph A. Bank, ask for Justin. He gives an experience like none other. My fiancé said "wow that was awesome. He was a really great guy." I was very disappointed with how my overall visit went to the Jos A. Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was very excited to go to my first Jos A. Bank store and look at a suit jacket that I have been wanting to purchase for a couple of weeks now. I didn’t really know what size suit jacket I should get so I went to go get my size and try on the jacket if they had it there. The store was very nice and I was greeted when I came in. Then I went to try on a couple of suit jackets and someone came to ask if I needed help. I said that I was looking to try on a specific suit jacket and asked if they had it. They said they only have 2 sizes in it so I went to try them on. All they had was a 40R. So I tried it on and it was too tight, so I knew I would need the next size up. So I asked him if it was available in the 42R. He told me that is is not available online or to be shipped to this store so I was going to have to try something else on. Once I left and got home I looked online and saw that the 42R was available for purchase online. So I was basically lied to and I am very disappointed with how this...
