I shop at the seabrook market basket several times a week and have been going for 7 years...Generally this store is well stocked and well staffed ..The ongoing & constant problem is that those who bag groceries need to be trained MUCH MORE !!! As a bagger in my youth ...I took exceptional pride in this important job...and these days ..its much easier as many...like myself use durable reusable cloth bags...Its rare that someone takes pride in placing items in the bag with any resemblance of care..thought ...or taking items according to size ...or fragility ...Today...the bagger put my can goods sideways in the bag...but its an everytime experience that the bagger really cares not to be effective or efficient in any way ...AND NEVER HAVE I SEEN ANYONE TRAIN BAGGERS ....THIS SHOULD CHANGE IMMEDIATELY ...so customers can have a entire great experience shopping at the Seabrook,NH...
Read moreI’m completely appalled at the service my boyfriend and I received tonight. With no one behind us, we went to the 12 items or less to check out to get our cigarettes too. The cashier was completely inappropriate giving my bf and I total attitude for having 16 items and not 12. I’ve never seen such a big deal be made over 4 items when no one else was in line at either of the 2 registers open! And then she had the nerve to stare at us in the other cashiers line! How rude!!! This woman made such a big deal she actually made my bf remove the items from the belt and refused to service us. I’m sorry, did you not like the way he looks because he just got out of work and his hands were dirty from fixing cars that one day may just be yours?! Can you spell discrimination, because I can! I walked by 3 cashier's with no customers to go to the cigarette isle, who also had no customers, because I needed cigarettes. I saw the sign that said "12 items" and said to the cashier " I think I have a couple more than 12, but I need cigarettes". She (Marissa d) just looked at me, clearly not listening to me, because she scolded me at the end of the order for having too many items.
She rang up a honeydew instead of a cantelop and picked the wrong cigarettes. Didn't seemed pleased with my correcting her.
On my way out of the store, I spoke to the front end manager ?!?!? Who seemd more interested in defending her rude cashier, than keeping my business.
I guess in the future I will go a bit out of my way to give my business to friendly,...
