Good sales process HORRIBLE customer service. We went and picked out two couches and a mattress for our home. The sales process was well organized and friendly. As others have noted temp checks, masks required and hand sanitizer. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up buying a sectional couch, a queen sleeper couch and a bob’opedic mattress. The mattress is working out fine. The couches are another story. The first creeks whenever you get up or sit down. This has been happening since the moment it was installed. The second a queen size sleeper doesn’t open and close smoothly and sits a odd angle with the bottom (feet) elevated above your head. It’s strange. We have tried at least a dozen times to call customer care and it’s over an hour wait every time. Ok fine we waited several times and the time will be dropping all of a sudden it will tell you it’s back up to an hour. What?? We’ve emailed customer service, they ask for the order number. We provide it then no response. We actually went back to the store and they refused to help said their policy was that you HAVE to call customer service. It’s actually crazy for a company this size. They said it’s because of Covid, which we understand but this goes way beyond what is acceptable particularly since buying the furniture was so easy. We’ve had Jordan’s furniture for years and haven’t had any issues like this. The adage you get what you pay for has never rang truer for me. We found one that we liked but it was expensive and we weren't quite ready to pull the trigger. We left all our information with Jason and told him we would call and let him know if we decided to buy it and then we would only have to schedule delivery. He promised us that we would not be charged unless we decided to go through with the purchase. A few weeks later, we revisited the store again and spoke with a different salesman. When we told him we had put a couch on hold with Jason, he checked and told us that we had actually paid for the couch in full. We were shocked! We have our credit card set up to come directly out of our checking account for the full amount when it's due. We never even got a receipt from Jason and we are 100% confident that it was not a misunderstanding. We were told our CC was not going to be charged. We would never have agreed otherwise and we know that we made that clear to Jason. When I called Bob's main number and explained what happened and said that I wanted to report a complaint to a manager in the Seabrook location, I was very surprised and disappointed to get a call back from Jason himself. There was nothing he could say to justify his actions. I told him based on principal alone, I would never buy anything from Bob's furniture again. We were quickly refunded our money but it really saddened me at the distrustful nature of our encounter.
