Today I returned to find another fragrance for my partner's birthday. I was greeted by multiple salespeople and eventually led to Pagna Keo in fragrance and let me tell you, Pagna gave me everything I was looking for in an afternoon, at the happiest place on earth: the bloomies fragrance counter! Pagna is incredibly knowledgeable....took the time to teach me about ingredients and scent profiles in several of the fragrances I was curious about....Pagna can tell you what scents may or may not go well together of course, but more than that, pagna has a finger on the pulse of what's still largely unseen.....the perfume HEARTBEAT baby!!!!! I felt drunk from all the deliciousness Pagna introduced me to today!!! I honestly couldn't have had a better experience AGAIN in this store!!!! Pagna was patient, listening, made incredible suggestions and gave me the experience I remember from growing up with Bloomingdale's in white flint, treated me like a queen, just like Bloomingdale's has always done for me.... thank you Pagna!

For the half hour or so that you are in this store, I promise you , you will feel like absolute royalty. This staff is so professional , so lovely , all of them, really. Even the gentleman at the register was so sweet , he was like a happy baby seal, with a beard! Adorbs.

Yesterday I went in with my girlfriend just to smell some Bond No. 9 fragrances, and I was so saddened to hear that there were no samples available and people have just come in, taken them, and left in the past. Bond No. 9 samples are tough to get now. Because of this and the brand popularity, I unfortunately was not able to even sample the two fragrances I came to sample and test (Greenwich Village and Lafayette St).

Lois Castelli-Leff was the sales associate who helped me. She felt so bad that I couldn’t test the fragrances I wanted to and she did everything she could to find samples or testers. We both had an incredible conversation during which we bonded and taught each other a lot. She is one of the kindest sales associates I have met and not even ONCE did I feel pressured; a rarity.

I actually ended up purchasing a bottle of MFK Amyris Homme Extrait without even planning on it because not only did I love the scent, but I appreciated Lois’s customer service skills so much. Daniel, her manager I believe, was also very helpful and is making sure I will get to test those fragrances in the future. I cannot praise this employees enough.

I went in 7/31 to buy some dresses and quality basics to celebrate my birthday and had found one dress that I was likely going to purchase, when one of the associates walked up and asked to start me a fitting room. At surface level this is great, however the way she looked me up and down and phrased it as "Do you need a fitting room? Are you sure you have the right size?" was so unbelievably condescending. The obvious undertone was "give me that dress so you don't steal it."

I almost convinced myself it was in my head, but my partner was also with me and confirmed that from his perspective she was also giving mean girl energy. She looked and talked to me like I was a bug, and not only did this deter me from purchasing from Bloomies that day, I also highly doubt I will be spending any money at any Bloomingdale's location.
