By far my favorite sports bar in Seattle! They have over 20 televisions spread throughout the space and the sightlines are excellent no matter where you're seated. There is a back room with some arcade games and there are a few TVs there as well.

I love how they post what games (or channel) will be on each TV during busy times like NCAA Tournament, NFL Sunday, etc. Just find the game you want based on the listing on the TV and settle-in. They have always been accommodating to game/change requests when it's not busy as well.

Lots of big tables and booths for groups and aside from the bar area it's an all ages spot!

They have a great taplist with loads of craft beer but also have Rainier on draft as well as others in bottle/cans.

The secret here though is the incredible food and surprisingly loads of healthy options. The pan-seared broccoli is out of this world and you can add grilled chicken for a full meal. The Thai lettuce cups are also amazing. It's nice to have so many healthy options to make frequenting a sports bar (and staying a long time for games) an easier decision. They also have rotating chef specials and a solid happy hour during the week.

Lastly, the front windows open so it's very bright and airy inside which is nice. No stuffy, dingey sports bar here (though I do love those as well)!

Give Westy a try if you haven't. I can almost guarantee you'll have a great time (unless your...

I went to the Westy with a friend of mine two weeks ago. I was shocked at the lack of service. The waiter saw us come in. We seated ourselves. We chose to sit in a booth, that seated more than two people. This area was empty. Not one person. We waited for the waiter to come over. He didn't. He continued his conversation with his co-worker. When he finally came over, he asked if it was just the two of us. We said yes. The look he gave us was unbelievable! His response was, "OK!" Tone was cold and nasty. He made it clear that he didn't approve of our seating choice. We asked for water. My friend said she didn't want ice. I told him that I did. He came back with both waters without ice. We asked about a food item on the menu. Again he was rude. I don't get it. We got up and walked out. We went next door to the Toronado. The food is incredible there. Consistency. That's the best I can say about the Toronado. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Soon they'll start serving breakfast. Can't wait for that. I really wanted to give the Westy a try. I'll never go back there again. Word of mouth goes a long way in this...

Ron, the cook, reflects poor credit upon this establishment; creating a disgustingly hostile environment unbecoming of the atmosphere any owner, manager, or employee associated with this location would strive to present. Myself & multiple other patrons were absolutely appalled by his conduct, words, and general actions towards patrons on the evening of 14APR2018. Myself & my peers will never again visit this restaurant, after being verbally attacked by simply addressing “Ron” as “Sir”, asking where the restroom was for our female friend. Ron aggressively & boisterously yelled to people who had just walked in the restaurant to never to called him “Sir” again, ignored all parties, and later confronted the clients. We are scared and intimidated, and will overly discourage anyone from attending this atmosphere. This man is disgusting, rude, unbecoming, intimidating, and hostile to people of all genders and races based upon what occurred. I will contact management and make the details accountable. Hopefully his actions are not indicative of this location, and he simply was...

Went here with 2 buddies on a Tuesday evening 6pm. Parking is scarce. 1 block from Light Rail station. It was 25% full and became full by 8pm. I bet it holds maybe 50 people at tables, 75 packed in. The place has a great local vibe. Roll up doors let light and air in. I sat down at a cool steel high top table in the bar. The place is definitely a hidden gem. It's a modern day Seattle 'Cheers', with the locals obviously knowing the secret. A happy place. Staff was on me quickly for a drink, great. My rum and Diet was well mixed not being overly strong. The other mixed drinks were good too. The barkeep knows it's Tuesday night. The food selection was a shock. Amazing choices and prices were more than fair. We had the flatbread, pork salad wrap, beer steamed clams, crispy chicken wings, garlic bread. The food came out quicky and was fantastic!! If I lived within 5 blocks of this place, I would have dinner here every night. No kidding. Shhhhhhh......don't tell anyone about this place.
