I have looked everywhere in Seattle to find a haircut place I could be happy with. Calvin is the one!!! I have been trying for years to find someone; a stylist, a hair dresser, a barber or even a student who could cut my hair with style, confidence and creativity. Someone to take care and pay attention to every detail, from the bottom of my chin to the top of my forehead, to my sideburns, my beard, my eyebrows, to the very back of my head. A true trained and yet still always learning, professional who will listen to me, and take they’re time. I was never happy, until I FINALLY found Calvin!!! He is by far the BEST stylist in Seattle and has proven it to me time and time again. I have had SO many compliments on the way I look and how I have upgraded my style and finally stepped up my game, thanks to him now I feel more confident and comfortable in myself and how I look. I wasn’t expecting it because the first time I went there I admit I went because of his competitive low price. Incredibly reasonable, but after my first haircut I honestly can’t believe the value! I get pampered; he washes my hair, he styles my hair, he listens, he pays attention, he remembers and repeatedly does the best job ever, every time! I don’t even have to say a word anymore, now he just knows. Our conversation’s are pleasant, warm, relaxed and easy, we can sit quietly or we can talk. I have never been this comfortable in any beauty salon, barbershop or spa treatment before. Calvin if the best. I have been looking for a new salon/stylist for a little bit now, and I heard about Divine Salon and stylist Calvin by word of mouth. I called in on a Saturday morning and made an appointment--and I'm glad I did, it was a very busy day that got all booked up eventually. I came in for a full single color and cut for long curly hair, and am very happy with the end result. Calvin made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing throughout the process. He also took the time to dry and style my hair, which was such a treat, because my hair is naturally curly and very thick, which usually makes this task a lot of work for me. I highly recommend Divine Salon; and plan on returning in the future myself....

Called today (7/2/25) and was surprised when the phone didn’t go through because Calvin has always been super easy to book with. Walked to the salon and realized the current address was around the corner from the old one. I was able to do a walk-in and found out he’s having phone problems this week, so if you’re having any issues, pop in or call again in a day or two. My husband and I have been going to Calvin for over a year.
