Subway — Restaurant in Seattle

This subway restored my faith in humanity. I stopped to get myself a sandwich. When I started giving my order I noticed an older lady with a cane and blind stick. She wasn't finding the door. I paused and opened the door and got her in. I went back to giving my order while a second worker came out and gave the lady verbal commands to help her navigate the store. They knew her order and were able to engage her in small conversation. I know from experience it has taken time for the staff to develop that level of skill when working with her. I bought the lady's sandwich and gave a good size tip. These workers did not have to provide this level of service but they did and did so graciously and with compassion.

Beware of inflated prices here. They charged alot more than other Subway stores because the franchise owners have jacked up all the prices. I got the EXACT same meal less than 3 miles from here and it was nearly $2.50 less. They also don’t allow you to order the Meal of The Day in person, you can only do that online and pick it up?? Doesn’t make any sense. I tried to explain to the staff, but they didn’t seem to care. The store was very dirty and there was no brewed iced tea at all. We pass three other Subways to go to this location. The food is always super fresh, no slimy vegetables or pink lettuce, and the staff are the absolute best. They really take their time to listen and make you a great sandwich. I think that any bad reviews must have the location confused by the nearby location on 125th. We've been coming to the 145th location for years and have had nothing but great experiences. I've never been inclined to write a review for any chain restaurants but this one deserves...
