Lashes by Minh — Local services in Seattle

Over the past 22 years of getting my lashes done, I’ve been committed to three lash artists, including Minh. I’ve been seeing her for several years now. When choosing a lash artist, I look for several things, including response and communication, accessibility, the environment, flexibility, and of course, the work and technique they use.

Minh is easy to reach and has a quick response time. When things did happen, I appreciated that she didn’t make it difficult to reschedule and was flexible with her clients. Her salon is conveniently located in West Seattle, with free parking in a low-traffic area.

The salon is small which I find it to be more personalized. It’s evident that she pays attention to the details of her work. She listens attentively to your preferences while also offering her professional opinion. While I’ve only seen her for lash extensions, she’s knowledgeable about other products and procedures offered at the salon. I’m hoping to try a few of them soon.

As far as her work and technique are concerned, they are undoubtedly the reasons behind this review and why I’ve been seeing her for so long now. Her lashes won’t stick together, which can be damaging to your natural lash line. However, she carefully separates them towards the end of the appointment. The lashes are not placed so close to your lash line that they can be irritating and cause people to pick them out. She also recommends what works best for your eye shape and the type of lashes that will stay on. If you want something too thick and too long for a dramatic look but your lashes can’t hold them, they will just fall off. I appreciate that she would point that out.

I have been seeing Minh for my eyelash extensions for 5 years now! She does an absolutely amazing job and I am always satisfied every time I go. I had been to 2 other places before finding Minh, but clearly she won my heart! Minh takes the time to do the job right, and she makes sure you are comfortable and always happy with the outcome. She does a variety of lash styles. I just let her do her magic because she knows what works best with my natural lashes. People are always fascinated when they see that I get lash extensions on my bottom lashes. I normally don’t wear any eye makeup, so having both top and bottom lash extensions is a game changer! Minh is wonderful. I have been going to Minh for my lashes for over a span of 5 years. When I lived in Portland and I was in town, I would come and get my lashes done by Minh. I have really short and frail lashes. Other places that I have went to for lash extensions, my lashes would hardly stay on and maybe lasted a week to 1.5 week. Minh’s lashes stay on for 3-3.5 weeks for me! People always compliment my lashes. Not only does Minh do a great job with my lashes, Minh is professional and she is a great communicator.
