I am writing this review to express my frustration regarding the inconsistent information provided about the membership fees. During each of my trial visits, I have been quoted different prices for the membership after accounting for my employee discount. The inconsistency in pricing has been a source of confusion and frustration.

What prompted me to write this review was a recent discovery that the membership price had increased yet again! This was particularly surprising because, when I inquired about the rate of increase just three weeks ago in northgate, in person during visit, I was told by employee Sean that the fee had stabilized and would not be subject to further increases.

I believe that customers deserve clear, consistent, and accurate information about pricing. The current practice not only undermines trust but also impacts the overall customer experience negatively. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for future...

Nice gym with good amenities, but not as great as my experience at Olympic Athletic Club. I joined to use the pool primarily, which was a great feature. I cancelled because they wouldn’t allow my sister and I to have a couples membership OR family membership, which would have saved us a substantial amount of money, as opposed to two young adult memberships. When clarifying that we actually were family, it didn’t matter and they stated we would each need to pay $200 initiation fees and $90/month memberships, as opposed to a total $300 initiation fee and $130/month total for a family membership. They had no issue though with my partner (who I do not live with) joining me for a couples membership. The more I enjoy the gym I belong to, the more likely I am to visit. I was looking for a club with a good pool for my spouse to do laps in, where I could take classes (yoga), lift weights, and run on the treadmill. I also wanted the equipment to be highly available so I didn’t need to wait around, and the whole place to be clean and well maintained. There’s a lot of care and attention Seattle Athletic Club puts into having a clean, comfortable location. It’s always well staffed, there’s always parking, and they communicate with members about upcoming changes. They take care of the big things and the small things like hairdryers, cotton swabs, machines to wring out your swimsuit and bags, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers, plenty of lockers with locks, large and small towels, and special social events.
