I have been with Dr Sage since was a partner with my previous dentist and when he retired, Dr sage bought the practice (At least I think thats the way it worked) I started with the Previous dentist around 1969, and was with him for at least a decade or more before he retired and Dr Sage took over I think i have been with Dr Sage well over 2 decades or more at this time, Dr Sage is a great dentist, he listens to my concerns about my teeth, he tries to get me to take proper care of my teeth, but I just seem to gradually slip and not brush and floss as much as I should, through no fault of his. He has done Root Canals, Crowns, Fillings, and just about everything you can do to keep teeth in good shape. He is as painless as you can be with the procedures he does. Not saying he causes me pain, but you know some procedures just hurt a bit no matter what, and I am a wimp when it comes to needles as well, so there is that as well. He always makes sure that the procedures I need and he recommends, are done to my satisfaction, as well as his. And he always, always, makes sure it is what I want and that I know the total price before hand. Like today he did a removal of a crown and some repair work to prepare for a replacement in a week or so. There was no pain at all, and even now hours after the pain killer wore off, there is stil no pain, which for me is amazing. I Fully recommend Dr Sage for any of your Dentistry needs at all. Very Competent, and Knowledgeable Dentistry Professional Always tells you the options and the full price upfront. Never a surprise fee suddnly appearing out of nowhere Ever. What he tells you, is what you get and pay for. After rechecking, I have been with the Previous Dr. and This practice for 55 years total...
Read moreMy last scheduled visit was going to be complicated; scheduled for 2 - 2-1/2 hrs and 3 different procedures. To further complicate matters, I started getting a migraine half way to the office. I took some medication but wasn’t sure if it would work quickly enough. Dr. Sage’s entire staff from front desk to hygienist to the assistants that help during procedures are all extremely competent, pleasant and helpful. They waited til my meds had a moment to kick in, then Dr Sage broke the visit into its components so we would be able to stop immediately if things weren’t working. I can’t imagine better, more compassionate service. We were able to complete about 1/2 of what we set out to do with doctor and staff checking with me at regular intervals to make sure I was OK. Just another example of the exceptional care I always get from Dr. Sage and his entire staff. Can’t recommend them...
Read moreI went to Sage Family Practice to have a routine cleaning. My current dentist retired and I pay out of pocket. I was charged an exorbitant fee of $500.00 for x-rays and a head scan but that did not include a cleaning. I was never told before the exam that this office doesn't do cleanings on the first visit. I was only informed that at the end of my appointment. I never would have gone to this office had I known upfront that it would cost $500 without a cleaning which was the only reason I was there. The front desk office representative claimed she told me that information when I checked in but that was not true. Every dental office I have contacted and those used by my friends charge much less and include a cleaning. This office is the only one I have gone to that doesn't perform a dental cleaning on the first visit. I am very disappointed at the lack of communication and the...
